Jarvis Harbinger-Marjin (born April 20, 1969) is an American football runningback who is currently preparing to enter the professional ranks. He played college football for International School of the Satanic Performing Arts (ISSPA) and has declared his intent to enter the professional ranks next season.

Early years

Light. Endless Light. No beginning, no end, no horizon or edge. It is all he can remember from his foray into the conscious world.

The rather untraditional introduction to Jarvis Harbinger-Marjin occurred on Sunday, April 20, 1969. Reports from that day in the small northern Arizona town of Prescott recall blinding light and fire seeming to arrive out of nowhere. By what hand Jarvis was dealt is unknown to the mortals of Earth. He knows who his Father and Mother are, and that is all anyone else needs to know about the subject.

Why is this ethereal figure known as the Demon Prince so adept at the sport of leather skin? Why was he brought to us, here and now? Is there some greater purpose to all of this? Only Jarvis Harbinger-Marjin knows the answers to those questions, and he is not sharing those answers with us.. for now.

College career

The first day of classes at the International School of the Satanic Performing Arts (ISSPA) marked a ceremonious occasion. Students joined together at the communal blood fountain to recant their favorite hymns of the occult in unison. Teachers prepared their curses. And of course, the incoming class of football players were bathed in blood outside the holy temple. As below, so above -- joyous, it was!

The celebration continued for years to come as Jarvis Harbinger-Marjin built his presence around campus. As a world-class thespian, entertainer, performer, and athlete, JHM was regularly the talk of the town. In his four years at ISSPA, Jarvis led the football team to the Division VI championship for four straight years and won an equal amount of Oscars for his reprisal as "The Tin Man" in Red Dead Wizard.

S34

After traveling the world to complete film shoots, Jarvis Harbinger-Marjin contemplated on what course to chart next. He walked and walked many miles, in no particular direction. The heat of the desert brushed past him, as if he were another tumbleweed lost amongst a sand-covered horizon. The weight of the sea bore down around but not upon him, crushing particles of light but not an ounce of flesh or bone. He walked until he ended up at the genesis of his being. In that place, he found his answer.

It was time to put on the pads once more.

Jarvis Harbinger-Marjin sought and found his match. As of April 5, 2022, he was a late addition to the Tijuana Luchadores during the DSFL S34 season. It wasn’t a waiver pickup so much as an act of the divine, though the league transaction updates may oversimplify the weight of the moment. This was his destiny.

Harbinger-Marjin played in two games for the Luchadores in S34, racking up 1 pancake and 3 carries for 20 yards, a fitting 6.66 average.

S35

Harbinger-Marjin was selected in the 3rd Round (20th Overall) of the S35 DSFL Draft by the Portland Pythons. He was the first running back to come off the board.

S35 was a strong season for the Pythons. Portland was commanding on both sides of the ball, playing host to a top-3 passing offense and a defense that led the league in both turnovers and sacks. While the overall rushing attack was in the bottom half of the league, JHM was the top rusher in S35 based on yards (1,466) and points scored (120 // 20 TDs).

Portland started the first half of the season with a 5-2 record, with key wins against strong KCC and London Royals squads. Included in that stretch are two of Harbinger-Marjin's top performances of the season: 28 att, 135 yds, 2 TD in Week 3, and a Week 6 showing of 28 att, 133 yds, 3 TD. Both outings resulted in wins for the Pythons. JHM would net his best performance of the year in Week 11 against Tijuana, sporting a stat line of 22 att, 176 yds, 2 TD.

The back half of the season also saw the Pythons go 5-2, including a 3-win streak to end the season against key opponents. The 10-4 overall record gave the Pythons a playoff berth, though they would unfortunately fall to the Coyotes in a heartbreaking Conference Championship loss. Even more unfortunate, this would be the second Conference Championship loss in as many seasons for JHM, having fallen to the Birddogs as a member of the Tijuana Luchadores in S34.

JHM started all 14 regular season games + the only postseason matchup for the Pythons. In those 14 regular season games, JHM racked up up 357 attempts for 1466 yards - good for a 4.1 YPC average - along with 19 rushing TDs. On top of that, Harbinger-Marjin put up 17 catches for 103 yards and 1 more TD. He added another 72 yards rushing and 1 more rushing TD in the playoff matchup. Oh, and who can forget about the 18 pancakes?! JHM loves pancakes.

For his efforts, JHM received a number of awards: DSFL S35 All-Pro honors, DSFL S35 RBOTY, DSFL S35 OROTY, DSFL S35 OPOTY, and DSFL S35 MOP (Most Outstanding Player).
