At an early age, Brown moved to Santa Ana, where he grew up throughout his childhood and high school years. At the age of 5, Brown was exposed to the world of sports, where he learned both his parents were active participators in football and softball, where his father Donald played 13 seasons for the Chicago Bears before calling it quits, and his mother Teresa played softball throughout high school and college, respectively.
