Jake Utler (born January 9, 2009) is an American football rb for the San Antonio Marshals of the Developmental Simulation Football League (DSFL). He played college football for University of Michigan (UM).

Early years

Jake Utler was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois where he started to play football at a young age. Utler struggled at first but kept learning and improving his game. He learned how important speed could be and that the team is always more important than just one person. In high school, Utler broke my school’s record for rushing yards and rushing touchdowns in a season. That was just his freshman year. He ended up breaking his own record two more times in high school and led his team to the state championship game. Unfortunatley, a first quarter injury stopped Utler from making a true impact in the championship game and his team ended up losing.

College career

Jake Utler ended up getting recruited by the University of Michigan and was a starter at the RB position by his second year there. In his first year of being the backup RB and kick returner, Utler learned a lot about the game. He was on a whole new level of competition and he had to prepare himself. Once Utler was able to get consistent touches he was able to show the world what he was truly made of. During his full season, Utler led the country in rushing attempts and yards while leadign Michigan to a spot in the playoffs where they lost by a field goal.
