The season was destined to be a bit difficult for the whole team. The roster still is was very young -and in development. Honolulu finished the year with a record of 7-9. The biggest goal was to improve the record compared to last season when they ended the season with 4-9. We can see a clear improvement to last year, so Honolulu seems to be on the right track. There are not many wholes any more on the roster.

The main goals for Heinrich Kackpoo himself remain the same as the year before, when he entered the league. To grow into a fearsome defender and make a name for himself and establish himself as on of the best linebackers in the league. He still needs to work on a few aspects in his game but without any doubt he will grow into a dependable piece in Honolulus defense.

This years season was quite interesting for Heinrich Kackpoo. He absolutely wanted to show that he is a viable piece in the defense and validate the strong performance of his rookie campaign. The first games where day and night for him. After a mediocre performance against the Outlaws he had a strong game against New Orleans where he recorded 10 tackles, 1 Sack and 1 PD. He won defensive player of the game but sadly Honolulu wasn't able to win the game. It looked like he is about to take off. Over the course of the next ten games he disappointed a bit. He averaged 6 tackles per game and 1 PD. With that sore performance he can't help his individual campaign neither can he help his team. The low point of the season was in week 13 against the Second Line. Heinrich failed to make any impact on the game just recording 2 tackles, 1 TFL and 1 PD. In week 14 his low tackle rate continued, but he managed to pull through and and got 2 sacks. With that record Kackpoo was elected defensive player of the game for the second time this season. After another average performance in week 15 he was able to close aout he season in a strong way at least with 14 tackles and 1 TFL against the Copperheads. Looking back the season was a bit disappointing in terms of tackles recorded, but Heinrich managed to improve on his other stats. He was able to improve in terms of sacks, FF and PD.

On the bright side, Honolulu was in playoff contention throughout the whole season. With the heartbreaking loss against the Copperheads at the end of the season they missed the playoffs very close. Despite that there is a clear upwards trend for the Hahalua as this was the first season without a losing record. If Honolulu is able to continue the trend they will soon see themselves as a legit title contender.

Heinrich Kackpoo (born February 14, 2014) is an American football linebacker for the Prospect of the Developmental Simulation Football League (DSFL).

Early years

Heinrich (* February 14, 1992) is an American Football Player currently without a contract with a professional football team. He grew up in a rural area on his parents farm. At the age of 10 he joined a group of firefighters and had minor success at various competitions. With the growing popularity of american football in his home country he decided to give it a try and joined the local amateur team the "Lichtenau Graders". He always showed great potential, was very versatile and filled many holes on the roster. Unfortunately his time was marked with injuries. Many of his teammates chose to attend university and joined the "Hagenberg Goaplers" so he also applied there and soon he was also a member of the Goaplers. There he managed to stay healthy and proved his critiques wrong who attested him to be injury prone and had great succes at the collegiant level with the Goaplers despite losing in several title games. In March 2020 he finally decided to abort his studies and declared himself eligible to the NSFL draft.

College career

In his first year with the Goaplers Heinrich Kackpoo was mainly used in special teams. However due to injuries he was granted a spot as linebacker at midseason. His ability to read the offense was remarkable, his run stopping abilities were off the charts. However at pass protection his subpar speed level became quite obvious. In the national finals the Goaplers fell short of winning due to a horrible performance of the quarterback who seemed eager to breack the record for most turnovers in a game (5 Int, 4 fumbles). In the offseason he enrolled in various training programms to improve his ground speed which earned him a spot in the starting lineup. Plus, trying to cover the new number 1 receiver of his team and former quarterback Michael Witheblock in training contributed immensly. In his second year he racked up mvp caliber stats leading the league in tackles (151), run stop percentage (42%). Additionally he contributed 7 sacks and 2 interceptions. Despite his personal success his team again failed to secure a national title. After another bitter loss in the finals he chose end his college carreer and enlisted in the 2020 NFSL draft.

Season 2036

Entering the league in midseason in 2036 Heinrich Kackpoo was immediately picked of waivers by the Myrtle Beach Buccaneers who sat at the top of the southern Conference of the DSFL. The team managed to acquire the number 1 seed after the regular season. In the regular season Heinrich Kackpoo didn’t get the opportunity to see even only one snap in any game. Entering the postseason the Buccs were considered to be the favorite to clinch the Conference title as well as the Ultimini. Though Heinrich Kackpoo failed to contribute to the teams success in the regular season, he got the opportunity to make an impact in the post season. He played his first game int the conference championship round against the Norfolk Seawolves. He got a few snaps as outside linebacker. The Myrtle Beach Buccaneers secured an impressive win with an outstanding performance of the defense. They shut out the Seawolves and won 18-0. In spite of the dominant performance of the defense Heinrich Kackpoo failed to get on the stat sheet, failing to make any measurable impact on the defense. In the Ultimini the Buccaneers faced off the Kansas Citiy Coyotes. They also won this game 27-10 to be crowned the DSFL champion for the first time with a repeated strong performance of the defense. Heinrich achieved his first career tackle in the game. After winning in the ultimini in his first, although short season, Heinrich Kackpoo enlisted in the DSFL draft to play his first complete season in the DSFL and to eventually make another run at a championship.

Season 2037

Going into the season Heinrich Kackpoo was drafted by the Portland Pythons at number 13 overall. Going in the second round the expectations were set. Kackpoo was in the starting lineup right from the start as the Pythons wanted him to play an important role in their defense. He was showing his potential right from the start and was able to establish himself in the defense. The Pythons were struggling at the start of the season and went 0-2. They managed to even the standings with 2 important wins. But it was clear that the season was going to be a difficult one. After every success there always came setbacks. So after 14 games the Pythons finished third in their conference missing the play offs. As disappointing as the season for Portland was, Heinrich Kackpoo performed outstanding on a team that just could show the potential. Over the course of the season he recorded 123 tackles and 1 tackle for loss and a forced fumble. He showed to be very versatile on defense as he racked up stats everywhere across the board. He produced 6 sacks, 2 interceptions and 10 passes defended. So individually he proved that he was right to be picked in the second round of the draft and was determined to make a statement out to the NSFL teams for the draft. His performance over the course of the regulars season also earned him the honor to be named into the Pro Bowl. After his first season in the DSFL he was drafted by the Honolulu Hahalua in the first round at number 3.

Season 2038

After being drafted in the first round by the Hahalua Heinrich Kackpoo knew that the pressure was on. He wanted to show that he is worth the investment. He got the chance from the team to make immediate impact and he did not disappoint. In just his first season he finished with 128 tackles ranking at number 10 in the whole ISFL. With just 2 TFL, 3 Sacks and 7 PDs the statsheet was not really stacked compared to other players, but that was to be expected. Over the next few years his impact on the field will only grow more and more. The last year he was the third string linebacker behind Mack Arianlacher and Jack Banks.
