Early years
Dre Uzond was born and raised in Kennewick, Washington. He lived with his parents, Ron Kevin and Herculisa, and his younger sister Azelia. Ron Kevin was murdered in Chicago when Dre was 13. Dre attended Kamiakin High School, where he was widely recruited out by top colleges until an ACL injury very early into his Senior year hurt his recruiting stock.
College career
"Dre Uzond began in Eastern Washington University. His redshirt freshman year he had a poor outting, his coach Rion Phaelgerry believing that he hadn't fully come back from his knee injury. His Sophomore year, he bounced back, winning the Devin Wonlin Award for best DB in the FCS. He transferred to Washington, where he played one season. He lead the FBS in interceptions that year. He entered the DSFL draft being considered one of the best CB prospects. "
