As a true freshman in 2042, Grossman had a solid season despite only starting in the latter half. Finishing the season with 3.5 sacks and 5 interceptions, he was named all-ACC as well as All-Academic, as well as being regarded as the fastest player in the ACC. In 2043, Grossman beat the previous ACC interception record (14) by 2, and was one of the very few defensive players to be considered for a heisman [despite not winning]. In 2044, Grossman suffered a hamstring injury against the Miami Hurricanes and was in and out all season, playing only 7 full games. With a bit of injury history, but also looking like one of the best corner recruits in college football, many recruiters don't know where to rank him on the board. However, he continues to remain a high to mid round pick in the 2045 draft. | As a true freshman in 2042, Grossman had a solid season despite only starting in the latter half. Early years
Dakota Grossman was born in Louisville, KY to mother Teresa and father Benjamin. His father worked at the Quad lumber mill and his mother was a secretary at the local church. The family relocated to a small town in Georgia when Grossman was young, and he attended Robert Lee High School where he broke the school's interception record and defensive TD record. Grossman also played golf in high school and was thought to have gone pro if he didn't pursue football. After finishing up his senior year in high school, with numerous offers from nearby universities such as Alabama and Georgia, he decided to go home and play for the University of Louisville. Grossman was only the second Robert Lee alumni ever to be a five star recruit. Grossman is still known to be an avid golfer and basketball player in his spare time.
