He was sorely mistaken, however, as he soon realized that he did not put in the required work to really have himself stand out among the rest of the class. He though that just by the nature of being an offensive lineman, he would be picked early. He had no idea he was far behind in training, and far behind in the basic understanding of how the DSFL and ISFL actually fundamentally worked. This stark realization, coupled with a plethora of off the field and personal life issues, contributed to Quigley becoming lethargic and disconnected. He was lucky enough to be drafted to the Kansas City Coyotes with the 87th overall pick, primarily becuase Kansas City was drafting an all-human offensive line. For the first six weeks of the regular season, Quigley just went through the motions and rarely contributed in the locker room. That is, until teammate Thomaslacher sat him down to see what was up, and helped Quigley learn the ropes and begin to succeed. Thanks to this, Quigley got his act together and quickly shot up the ranks of gaurd, obtaining the most pancakes of any gaurd on the season before being switched to center for the last two games. Connor Quigley (born June 15, 2018) is an American football offensive lineman who is currently preparing to enter the professional ranks.He played college football for UMASS Amherst (UMASS) before being drafted by the Kansas City Coyotes in the 2039 DSFL Draft (S24). He would later go undrafted in the 2040 ISFL Draft (S25).

Quigley spent the majority of his adolesence in and around the Boston area, with an exception of a 1 year span during 2020 that the Quigley family spent in isolation in Northern Maine, during the COVID-19 pandemic. He took a liking to football at a very early age, and would often be found sporting his favorite New Orleans Second Line jerseys and hats. Quigley began playing football in middle school as a tight end, but later trasitioned to right gaurd and tackle during high school after a growth spurt and a self-proclaimed "addiction to buffalo chicken calzones and Hawaiian Punch". College career
After a relatively successful four years at Boston Latin, Quigley was recruited to UMASS Amherst as a true freshman, and was able to start almost immediately due to an injury at the right guard position. Amherst head coach Bo Duney credits a four year increase in running back production and quarterback completion rate partly to Quigley's unassuming athleticism and knowledge of complex blocking schemes. Quigley quickly made a name for himself under Duney's offense, only allowing 7 sacks over his four year college career (Quigley missed 5 games in his Junior Year due to an injury stemming from an off-season incident). Quigley was arrested by Northampton Police in June of 2037 on suspicion of DUI, but the charges were later dropped. Fans have speculated Quigley's missed games were a result of this, but that was neither confirmed nor denied by the UMASS Athletic Department or Quigley himself. Now a fresh DSFL prospect coming off of a decent combine performance, Quigley hopes to find a new home in the ISLF and hopefully contribute to a championship team.
