Brandon Booker (born February 2, 2014) is an American football cornerback for the Undrafted of the National Simulation Football League (NSFL).

Early years

Brandon Booker was born on February 2nd 2014 in Phoenix, Arizona. Booker attended Desert Vista High School, known for producing NFL players such as Devon Kennard, Zach Miller and Jalen Jelks. Booker was the stand-out performer for the school's track team and it's football program druring his time there. Booker was used as a running back and a return specialist because of his speed and agility, and college scouts became aware of the high schooler via videos of him returning punts and kickoffs on ESPN.com and Youtube. In his senior season, Booker accumulated 1,745 scrimmage yards and 23 touchdowns. Booker also recorded four punt return touchdowns and two kickoff return touchdowns. Booker ran a personal best 10.61 seconds in the 100-meter dash during the state championships, a school record. The All-American Bowl selection tour visited Desert Vista High School, but controversially did not invite Booker to its combine or the game itself. A number of Booker's teammates and classmates protested this decision on social media, and successfully got the hashtag #BookerGotSnubbed trending in the United States. Booker's high school coaches praised his grades and work ethic as much as his on-field play, and Booker would go on to graduate with a 3.9 GPA. Booker's character and physical traits made him very appealing to college scouts, and Booker was considered a four-star recruit by Rivals.com. After much deliberation, Booker eventually announced on his personal Twitter account that he would be playing college football in-state for the Arizona State Sun Devils.

College career

Brandon Booker appeared in 13 games as a true freshman, primarily on special teams. Though he performed well as a special teams gunner and returner, Booker was unable to move his way up the depth chart at running back and played very few snaps on offense. Booker finished the season with 19 carries for 114 yards and no touchdowns. Booker also caught one pass for 12 yards. ASU's coaching staff gave Booker reps at cornerback and safety prior to his sophomore year, and Booker would end up starting 13 games as a defensive back during his sophomore season. Booker finished the season with 47 total tackles and four interceptions, which Booker's coach attributed to him meticulously studying film of the other team's offense prior to each game. Booker's final college season was even more successful and the junior cemented himself as a top cornerback prospect by forcing seven turnovers. Booker finished the season with 58 total tackles, six interceptions and a forced fumble. Booker returned one of these interceptions for a 4th quarter touchdown against the University of Arizona Wildcats, ASU's fiercest rivals. Brandon Booker elected to forego his final year of college eligibility and entered the Season 22 DSFL draft.
