====Portland Rookie Year (S40)====
 +
Having been drafted 20th overall in the DSFL draft, Duvernay was expected to be a key piece of the Portland Pythons secondary starting day one. For the entirety of the season, Duvernay was on the field covering one side for virtually every snap of the DSFL season and postseason. In the first half of the season, the secondary as a whole unit struggled due to lack of safety help. During that time, Duvernay excelled in defending the short passing game but struggled defending deep as the lack of safety help put more stress on the cornerbacks. Despite this, Duvernay was consistent in racking PDs and snagged three interceptions in the first half of the season. In the second half of the season, the secondary improved as the defensive unit established itself as one of the best in the league. Duvernay was consistently the DSFL PD leader and further cemented that title by the end of the season as the team went 8-6 steamrolling the London Royals in the Conference round before just falling short of the win in the Ultimini due to a Buccaneers comeback.

====Portland Second Year (S41)====
 +
After falling just short in the Ultimini, Duvernay pushed himself harder than ever to make sure that he would improve every part of his game, especially the parts he had neglected, which was mainly aiming to create turnovers to change the tide of the game. Unfortunately, Duvernay's second year proved to be a rough outing as the team as a whole regressed due to callups to the ISFL. Duvernay felt that the ball did not get thrown his way enough to make a difference on the field, so he adapted and paid more attention to the opposing run game, which allowed him to stuff some runs throughout the season if they got past the line. His main improvement on the season was forcing and recovering fumbles as he went 2/2 for forcing and recovering fumbles, which is much improved compared to going 1/0 the previous season. Despite this, Duvernay still had the worst season so far in the greater ISFL as he logged 8 less PDs and 2 less interceptions as the Pythons ultimately fell just one game short of the playoffs at 7-7 due to the competitiveness of the Northern DSFL conference during season 41.

====Arizona First Year (S42)====
 +
After his rough final season in the DSFL on the Portland Pythons, Duvernay was called up by the Arizona Outlaws, which was the team that drafted him in the season 41 draft. This proved to be a significant change for Duvernay as the team lined him up in the nickel for almost all his snaps for the entirety of the season. This change proved to be a successful transition for Duvernay and the franchise as he settled into the position quickly despite not playing in the nickel much before. Although he did not rack up as many PDs or tackles, he was able to development his game as a pass rusher this season getting a sack for the first time in his career and totaling 5 throughout the season. He proved to be a reliable piece of the best defense in the ISFL during season 42 as the team eventually made the playoffs with a 13-3 record and went on to win the Ultimus.

====Arizona Second Year (S43)====
 +
Coming off a solid rookie season in the ISFL individually while having the best collective season of his professional career thus far, Duvernay sought to improve in his second outing and return to the Ultimus once again. This season, Duvernay regressed in his production as a pass rusher, but found more success against the run after improving his tackling techniques and strategies over the offseason. With this improved technique in his repertoire of many skills as a nickel corner, Duvernay found that he was creating more fumbles throughout the season and making more big time plays for his team, which gave them more opportunities to score and Duvernay more opportunities to make a difference for his team. Although the Arizona Outlaws did not reach the Ultimus a second year in a row, it was still a solid season for both Duvernay and the team being eliminated in the conference finals.

 +
====Arizona Third Year (S44)====
 +
In his third year with Arizona, Duvernay was officially deemed the CB1 being moved to the outside as his fellow veteran corners began to regress from age, but they had done well to help Duvernay develop into a dominant corner as he had by far the best season of his career statistically out of both his tenures with the Pythons and Outlaws so far. He posted season highs in all his coverage ratings in the ISFL racking 31 pass deflections and 7 interceptions with one of them being a pick 6. This season, Duvernay garnered pro bowl honors, first team all pro, and was on the ballot for both DPOY and MVP despite the Arizona Outlaws missing the playoffs. Overall as a team, the Outlaws struggled immensely as they only placed fourth in the ASFC with a 9-7 record as their offense struggled to put up points on the board.
 +
 +
====Arizona Fourth Year (S45)====
 +
During the 45th season of the ISFL, Duvernay had officially settled into his role as one of the main outside corners for the Arizona Outlaws. Although Duvernay saw some regression in terms of creating turnovers for the Outlaws going from 7 to only 3 interceptions, he played an incremental role in the league best defense in the ISFL in terms of points allowed at a stingy 20.5 points per game. On the flip side, Duvernay was significantly more successful in shutting down plays and limiting yardage allowed as he logged 10 more tackles and 8 more pass deflections than the previous season. The Arizona Outlaws once again finished the season with a 9-7 record as well as a playoff berth where they were bounced in the first round of the playoffs by the Copperheads, who eventually went on to be the Ultimus champions that season. Duvernay was awarded with a pro bowl appearance and second team all-pro for his play throughout the season, which ultimately meant that it was a successful individual season for him. Despite the disappointing loss in the wildcard, Duvernay was optimistic for the future as the defense had great chemistry and the Outlaws had finally had a taste of the playoffs once again.

 +
====Arizona Fifth Year (S46)====
 +
It was another season for Duvernay as it started to feel like each week in the league seemed to zip by for him, but nevertheless, the grind for him continued as normal. In terms of pure statistics, Duvernay regressed significantly in most metrics but that was mainly due to not having as much heavy lifting to do on the field as the team had significantly improved on both sides of the ball from the previous season. The team as a whole dominated in the regular season with a 13-3 record with the second best defense allowing only 19.9 PPG and the third best offense scoring 26.3 points per game, which allowed Duvernay to focus on his role as CB1 and also have more time to catch his breath on the sideline. Duvernay only posted 97 tackles, 4 interceptions, and 29 pass deflections on the season, which was a far cry from some of his previous seasons, but this did not bother Duvernay as the team coasted to the playoffs where he could bring his veteran experience. This was shown by both the team's collective and his individual performances in the playoffs as he posted a combined 22 tackles, 7 pass deflections, 1 game-sealing interception, and 1/1 forced fumbles as the Arizona Outlaws dominated through the first two rounds of the playoffs and eventually won the Ultimus for the second time in his career. For his efforts, Duvernay was awarded a third pro bowl appearance and another second team all-pro as he further cemented himself in the ISFL history books.

Benjamin Duvernay (born March 7, 2033) is an American football cornerback for the Portland Pythons of the Developmental Simulation Football League (DSFL).

Early years

Benjamin Duvernay was born in Nice, France to Clément and Josephine Duvernay on March 7th, 2033. At the age of seven, his family moved to the United States in Baton Rouge, Louisiana due to financial struggles and wanting a fresh start. Duvernay first had the dream of becoming and ISFL player when he watched an LSU game for the first time at the stadium. During the blowout win in favor of LSU, he could not help but notice the impressive feats of athleticism performed during the game and realize that he wanted to do it to. During high school, Duvernay was a dominant player on both sides of the ball playing as a cornerback, wide receiver, and gadget player. This lead him to being assessed as a four star prospect towards the end of senior year after a dominant final year. Being offered multiple scholarships, Duvernay decided to attend the school that gave him the dream of playing football in the first time, which also allowed him to stay close to family.

College career

During Duvernay's Freshman year, he did not see the field much except for during the final quarters of games when they were seemingly already over, but he managed to impress the coaches with his dominant cover style and athleticism racking 3 interceptions, 10 tackles, and 15 broken up passes only allowing 7 receptions and a touchdown on a goal line play. Making a positive impression on the coaching staff, Duvernay was made a bonafide starter his next two years and made the most of them. His sophomore year, Duvernay achieved a rising status of notoriety for his ability to cleanly plaster receivers, which made quarterbacks often hesitate to throw the ball his direction. He had an incredibly successful sophomore season playing all 13 games in the regular season racking 10 interceptions and 30 passes defended only allowing 15 receptions and 2 touchdowns. His Junior year started off rough with a mild injury to the ribs where he missed two games, but then made a unprecedented comeback where he garnered 11 interceptions 35 PDs only allowing 14 receptions and 3 touchdowns. After his Junior Season, Duvernay reported eligible for the DSFL draft where he was drafted by the Portland Pythons at 20th overall.

Portland Rookie Year (S40)

Portland Second Year (S41)

Arizona First Year (S42)

Arizona Second Year (S43)

Arizona Third Year (S44)

Arizona Fourth Year (S45)

Arizona Fifth Year (S46)
