Benjamin "The Hammer" Ankers (born December 15, 2019) is an American football defensive end who is currently preparing to enter the professional ranks. He played college football for Notre Dame and has declared his intent to enter the professional ranks next season.

Early years

Benjamin was born and raised in Oshkosh, and since he could walk he would watch football. As soon as he was old enough he would join the local football team, and he would excel at his postion. He joined HS where he was placed at OLB, which he did pretty good, but he enjoyed DE more. His coach allowed him to play DE over OLB. He ended his first year of HS with 9 sacks, 5 TFLs, and 34 tackles. Benjamin also did many other sports, including weightlifting, wrestling, and baseball. These sports all improved his DE performance. His second year he broke his HS record for sacks in a season with 15 sacks, and tied the record for TFLs, at 27. Benjamin did not have the best life tho, he was born to a poor family so when ever he was free he had to work, but he did not let that stop his dream.

College career

Benjamin started as a true freshman, mainly due to the fact the senior starter had a injury, but he did not fail to prove himself. Benjamin lead the team in tackles for the first few weeks, but the starter came back from injury and retook his spot. Benjamin did not fight be he trained everyday doing his very best. His second year, he started the whole year, but midway through the season he was switched to OLB because the OLB got a ACL tear, and he did pretty well there. His Junior year he was switched back to DE and he stayed there for the rest of his career. He would also be doing other sports to keep him fit. When he wasn't working out he was watching film of opposing teams, and also of pro level to learn and be ready for if he gets an invite. He would also be a great team leader. His teammates werent the most dicisplined, but he helped lead them. He was looked up to, figurtivly and realisticly because he towered over his team.
