Baby Yoda (born November 12, 2008) is an American football runningback for the Portland Pythons of the Developmental Simulation Football League (DSFL). He played college football for Jedi Academy (JEDI) and has declared his intent to enter the professional ranks next season.

Early years

Maz-Ta Yoda was born in the small, relatively unknown country of Dagobah. He was always considered small for his shy and was a very shy child. At a young age, he contracted a very rare condition that caused his skin to take on a green-ish hue. The condition itself was so rare that it was never named by the man that discovered it. Amazingly, he has survived to the age of adulthood and is now considered healthy by all other means, but the lack of proper medicial treatment for his condition has caused his skin to retain this unnatural color.

As a young teenager, the Yoda family relocated to the USA, where Yoda would attend high school and join the football team as a Running Back. Due to his small stature and unusual appearance, his teammates nicknamed him ""Baby"", a name that he still carries to this day. Despite being a very small child, Yoda always enjoyed playing with other children and wasn't afraid of being roughed up by larger kids. This made him ideal for the game of football and he saw it as a chance to prove himself to the other kids.

College career

Because of his size, Yoda was overlooked by all of the major colleges, but he did get accepted by a school known as the JEDI Academy (the Junior Education and Development Institute), where he tried out for and, against all odds, made their football team, once again as a Running Back. It was difficult for him to play any other position because of his short height. He did not start often in his freshman year, but became a favorite of his teammates due to his adorable personality.

In his sophomore year, Yoda earned chances to play more as a kick returner and was slowly introduced into the Running Back rotation. He was not as strong as many of the other players, but his small size and mobility allowed him to sneak past defenders and make big plays. This quickly earned the support of the fans as well as several nicknames, such as the Marvelous Munchkin, Sultan of Smol, and Little Green.

He got the opportunity to be featured in a RBBC during his junior and senior years. Coaches were hesitant to give him a large workload due to his small size, but Yoda made the most of his opportunities. His defining play was a 99-yard rushing Touchdown that saw him run under the legs of several opposing defenders and break away toward the goal line. The team still lost the game 14-58, but it was a memory that still rallied the fanbase. During his time with the team, they went 3-45, but Yoda's unusual appeal and performances on the field caught the attention of DSFL scouts, who offered him the chance to enter the league and learn from its professional coaching staff.
