Aidan Joseph Bernardi Hutchinson Jr. (born September 13, 2030) is an American football defensive end who is currently preparing to enter the professional ranks. He played college football for University of Michigan (UM) and has declared his intent to enter the professional ranks next season.

Early years

Following in his father's footsteps, Aidan Hutchinson Jr. started playing football from a young age. Growing not quite as tall as his father, but bulking up as a young kid, he began playing for the local school in Dearborn, Michigan. Having grown up watching reruns of college football, as well as watching his dad play for the Detroit Lions, Aidan knew that there was nothing else that he wanted, except to follow his father and play the game they both loved. After a few minor setbacks growing up, especially with a near devasting ACL injury during the highschool championship game, Aidan was able to make a full recovery with the tanks to modern medicine. He is fortunate to have been born when he was, because just 40 years earlier this kind of injury would have threatened to remove him from the game entirely, but instead, Aidan was able to graduate high school to attend his dream school, the University of Michigan.

College career

Having been red-shirted his first year playing for the Wolverines, Aidan was looking to really make his mark. Throughout the season and offseason he was able to bulk up quite a bit, gaining nearly 30 pounds of muscle. Putting him at almost the 290 pounds that he currently is, he was able to move onto the field at the defensive end position and begin to make his mark. Like his father, his greatest accomplishment is being a runner up for the Heisman award, but he was able to put his on the field accomplishments to the test. Having played four seasons, Aidan was able to lead the Wolverines to a national championship in his final season. It was a bittersweet end for the former Wolverine, but he looks back at it fondly, and often talked about that final season as a part of his motivations for entering the DSFL draft. Looking to find a great team and figure out what is going to happen for him, Hutchinson cannot wait for the draft.
