Early years
Bradberton was born on May 5th 2012 in Warren, Rhode Island the son of Joseph & Mary Bradberton. He chose to play football in the steps of his father, who played Offensive Guard in high school. His parents were both teachers at Warren High School where he would play his high school football. Bradberton originally played his fathers position of Offensive Guard however his high school team was very shallow on the defensive line and deep at guard so he made the switch to increase his play time and chances to make the team. He would become the starter his sophomore year at Defensive Tackle and earned All State honors in his senior season where he recorded 54 tackles, 3 sacks, and 2 forced fumbles as part of an undefeated season capped off with a state championship. Bradberton was considered a 2 star prospect coming out of high school with few scholarship offers and selected to attend his mothers alma mater of Boston College.
College career
Bradberton spent most of his freshman season deep on the depth chart and was mostly featured on special teams. He finished the season with 2 tackles in minimal play time and blocked 1 kick against Georiga Tech.
As a sophomore Bradberton started the season as a rotational player second on the depth chart. His first start came in Week 6 following an injury to BC's 4 year starting Defensive Tackle. Bradberton recorded 5 tackles and 1 sack in his 1st start and started the remaining 5 games at defensive tackle finishing the season with 24 tackles, 6 for a loss, and 2.5 sacks including 2 tackles, both for a loss, in the Bad Boy Mowers Gasparilla Bowl against Marshall.
Bradberton was cemented as the starter at Defensive Tackle going into his Junior season. He would start all 12 games again in his junior year where he recorded 36 tackles, 11 for a loss, 2 sacks, 1 forced fumble, and a blocked field goal in overtime to beat Virginia Tech, he was named to the 2nd team All-ACC team at Defensive Tackle.
His senior season saw him have success again gaining another 42 tackles, 10 for a loss, 2.5 sacks, 2 forced fumbles, and 1 fumble recovered. He was once again named to 2nd team All-ACC at Defensive Tackle
Bradberton finished his career at Boston College with 104 tackles, 27 tackles for a loss, 7 sacks, 3 forced fumbles, 1 fumble recovery, and 2 blocked kicks to go with 2 2nd team All-ACC selections.
