Taonga Zod Kofi (born April 26, 2043) is an American football safety who is currently preparing to enter the professional ranks.He played college football for University of Texas at Austin (UT) and has declared his intent to enter the professional ranks next season.

Early years
Taonga Kofi was born in Gauteng, South Africa to Enu Kofi and Mtendere Kofi. Sent to an orphanage for a hope for a better life, many quickly noticed Kofi's exceptional intellect, and one even offered him a chance at a life in America. He was then adopted by Aaron and Suzie Penders, who were parents to 3 other children, Athena, Zorie, and Zed Mac, and moved to Florida with them. Inspired by Zed Mac, he changed his middle name to "Zod" and learnt football from him. He soon started to excel in football, yet never really took it seriously and wanted a career in Computer Science. He exceled in high school, taking 15 APs over his high school career and graduated high school early after skipping 10th grade as it was "too easy" according to him, and was offered an academic scholarships to UT Austin, Notre Dame, and Duke. He chose to accept the full-ride to UT and majored in Computer Science, with a minor in Botany and Vocal Performance
College career
As a walk-on freshman, Taonga was offered little opportunities yet excelled whenever given a chance. He rarely got action, but was thrust into a starting role when the starting Safety was sidelined due to a collarbone injury. He excelled as a run stopper, finishing the season with 51 tackles in 8 games, and allowing no touchdowns when targeted. As a sophomore, he started all 12 games he played in and went undefeated throughout the regular season when playing. He recorded 108 tackles and 5 sacks over the 12 games he played in. As a junior, he started all 14 games and recorded 112 tackles and 3.5 sacks. He also logged 4 interceptions, with 2 forced fumbles on top of it.
