Early years
Frosty Steele was like any young kid where he would play outside, talk to friends, and go to school. He didn't have any tough upbringing stories, but he sure does love the sport of football. Since he was about 6 years old is when he experienced football. Watching on the television with his dad, getting the thrill of adrenaline got him excited and he wanted to be part of that excitement. He played ball from the middle school days, all through college. Started off trying to be a Wide Receiver, even took some snaps playing Defensive Back, but it was not until he was in high school that he started to play as a linebacker. His coaches saw his capability there and he's been playing there since. If not playing for his team, he always loved playing pickup games at the park, or just with friends. He was so good he was getting offers from many colleges.
College career
Frosty Steele went to the University of Maryland for college He wrecked havoc at that school and it got national attention. Freshman year, he got a chance to start mid-way through the season and had a sack his first play of defense. From there, he was always around applying pressure to any opposing quarterback so he ended up starting the rest of the season. He did have one minor setback in his sophomore year of college when he got hit with an injury on his right shoulder, keeping him out of over half of his sophomore season. The injury didn't slow him down, as in his junior year he bounced right back finishing the season with a team high in tackles, and 14 sacks on the season. He continued suit in his senior season having the best season yet. Adding even 4 interceptions to his name that year, where in the past 3 seasons he only had 1 combined.
