Early years
Teddy Rhinoback was born to Delores and Robert Rhinoback in Sedona, AZ on September 10th 2029. Teddy was a rather large baby at birth coming in at just under 8Lbs. His younger years were spent like many other kids his age except for the fact that Teddy took a liking to a game he called "get the man with the ball". Unfortunately that man usually turned out to be the family dog. After seeing Teddy's affinity for "getting after it" Robert and Delores signed him up for youth league football in Sedona figuring that his enthusiasm wouldn't be wasted on defense. During his middle school years Teddy and his parent moved outside of Los Angeles, CA. It was clear that Sedona wasn't going to be able to provide the football atmosphere that Teddy needed to fulfill his dream of becoming a pro athlete. By his high school years Teddy was starting for the famed Mater Dei high school where his size gave him a distinct advantage. Teddy was a starter for both his junior year and senior year's state championship games. Coming out of high school Teddy was listed as number 68 in 247sports.com position rankings.
College career
Out of high school Teddy received several scholarship options from across the country but ultimately signed with Iowa State University as a defensive tackle as part of the 2047 signing class. His main reasoning for choosing ISU was to see parts of the country he hadn't had the chance to see, reasoning that the heartland was the perfect place to start.
Freshman Season During his freshman year, an injury on the depth chart forced Teddy into the starting lineup, burning his redshirt. He only played in five games but totaled 10 tackles and 1 sack. Starting all 13 regular season games and the Alamo Bowl.
Sophomore Season His sophomore year saw noticeable improvement where Teddy amassed 26 tackles (5 TFL), 3 sacks, and 2 PBUs.
Junior Season By his Junior year Teddy really came into his own becoming a force to be reckoned with on the defensive line. Teddy tacked on 35 Tackles (6 TFL), 4 sacks, 2 FF, and 3 PBUs. His Junior year performance earned him a spot on the Big-12 All-Conference team.
Senior Season Teddy's Senior year performance earned him a spot of the All-American team with 34 Tackles (8 TFLs), 9 sacks, 3 FF (1 FR), and 5 PBUs.
