Early years
Brock was born in Seattle, Washington in 2004. Despite being the son of a former professional football player, football actually wasn't Brock's first sport, instead his first love was soccer. Weathers was a striker who quickly moved on from recreational leagues to a select travel team. As he entered high school and his frame started filling out, Skyline's coaches quickly started recruiting him for their football team. At first, Brock was reluctant to join the team as he wanted to blaze his own sports path, however, he eventually gave in. Brock played linebacker, defensive end, tight end, fullback, and even place kicker in his time in high school. By the time his senior year came he was being recruited by the likes of Oregon, USC, Cal, and Washington State, but truly there was only one team he was interested in; the University of Washington.
College career
After receiving a full athletic scholarship, Brock wasted no time as he enrolled early and got to school at the earliest he could. His eagerness didn't always sit well with his teammates, however, as the first spring game came, Brock put all that to rest as he put on a show racking up 15 tackles, forced two fumbles, and got one sack. As a true freshman, Weathers not only made the team, but was a starting linebacker. He would go on to earn All-American honors each year, but the thing he was most proud of was also making the All-Academic team each year. Brock earned his degree in computer science with an emphasis on software engineering.

DSFL career
As a late declarer for the NSFL, Brock was a relative unknown as other teams didn't really have a ton of time to scout him. Despite this though he made a good enough of an impression to be drafted with the last pick of the second round by the San Antonio Marshals. Quickly though he would find a nice home for himself being in the same linebacking core as their first round draft pick, Rickey Ramero and they played well off each other as Brock would stay closer to the line and Ramero would drop back some. Brock would finish his first season off with over 100 tackles and the Marshals would make the playoffs, but fall in the first round.
After being drafted by the Philadelphia Liberty in the S8 NSFL Draft, Weathers chose to stay down in the DSFL as he felt the Marshals were on the brink of something special. After having a meeting with his general managers in both San Antonio and Philadelphia, it was determined that Brock would change positions to defensive end. This was a move Weathers was a little apprehensive about, but it seemed to be a great decision as he would put on a clinic. Once again the Marshals would make the playoffs, but suffer a crushing first round loss.
