And Fank instantly strived at wide receiver, speeding past corners nearly every game. Fank now had a newfound love for football and once he reached his Senior year, Fank had multiple offers across the country in both Track and Football, though ultimately, Fank choose a path in football and decided to stay in-state. Choosing an scholarship to play at the University of Washington.
College career
Fank did not expect to start as early as he did in his college career, after multiple other teammates were injured early in the season, Fank saw himself starting just three games after his Freshman year began. And while it wasn't filled with many catches, only 28 in total Fank put scouts of notice after a 77 yard touchdown in the final game of the his teams 5-7 season to capitalize a 48-40 victory. His sophomore season though was one for the record books, after the teams disappointing performance in the previous year, the team made a coaching change and it did sure matter. Fank ended up producing 71 catches for 1357 yards, and 9 touchdowns. This brilliance wasn't entirely replicated in his Junior year, racking up 67 catches for 1245 yards, and 8 touchdowns. But it meant nevertheless that Fank would be moving up to the DSFL after the conclusion of his Junior year.
