Bayden Brosley (born March 25, 2016) is an American football cornerback in the National Simulation Football League (NSFL). He played college football for University of Delaware (Delaware) and has declared his intent to enter the professional ranks next season.
Early years
"Bayden Brosley was born in Oakland, CA on March 25th, 2016 to his mother Cheryl, and his 7 siblings. Bayden stuck out as a very energetic child, in contrast with his more quiet, reserved siblings. When Bayden turned 4, his family moved to Edmonton, Alberta, so his mother could attend night school at the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology.
At the age of 6, Brosley began attending Rundle Public Elementary School. He soon joined their intramural basketball team, where he began showcasing his natural athletic talent. In grade 2, Brosley became fascinated by the sport of football after his class attended a field trip to see the local CFL team, the Edmonton Eskimos. His newfound love and passion for football got him recruited to a football camp, where he began playing as a WR and a FS. He picked up an affinity for the game quickly, and by the time he reached Grade 6, he had been scouted by various high schools across the city, earning recruitments from all of them.
It was around this time that Brosley was involved in a legal issue wherein he physically fought a social worker who was at the time in their household. The charges were eventually dropped, but the incident resulted in disciplinary action enforced by his football coach. It is not currently known why the social worker was in the Brosley residence.
Bosley began attending NcNally High School, where he finally moved to CB. It was here that he truly began excelling as an athlete, particularly in football. He spent the first two years at McNally on poor teams, although he quickly became known as one of the better players. His Grade 12 year was his best; he had just gone through a major growth spurt, blossoming from 5'10 to 6'3 within five months. He began dominating at the CB position, recording 12 INTs in one season, setting a city record. His team went 10-3, sending them to the city championship vs St. Francis Xavier High School, where they lost 30-20. It was there that Brosley was scouted by the University of Delaware, earning him a 4 year scholarship.”
College career
"Brosley began as a true freshman in 2035, where he quickly became known for his hot-headed personality and playstyle. He was able to win the starting spot within 2 games, and by the end of the season, he had recorded 30 tackles, one resulting in a fumble, along with an interception. His sophomore year was one without much improvement. He recorded similar stats; 32 tackles and 2 interceptions. During a 17-3 rout vs Stoney Brook, Brosley was seen arguing with his coach, during which he threw his helmet at his feet. The team suspended him indefinitely, until he issued a public apology, after which the suspension was shortened to a single game. His Junior year was one of dramatic improvement; he recorded 40 tackles and 6 interceptions, one of which was returned for a TD. This netted him the Thorpe Trophy, and caused him to earn enough draft hype for him to officially declare for the 2037 DSFL Draft. Brosley is quoted as saying ""I expect to make waves this year, [the] DSFL ain't ready for my [sic] genius and athletic ability."" "
