Ruff Ruff (born January 10, 2016) was an American football running back for the Honolulu Hahalua and the Arizona Outlaws. He played college football for Precious Paws Canine Institute (PPCI) and for the Minnesota Grey Ducks of the DSFL.
Early years
Player was born to a mixed breed family in an Alley behind a Sbarro's pizza store in Times Square of New York City. Instantly surrounded and amazed by the glitz and the glam of the big city spotlight, Ruff Ruff knew that the only life for him was one chasing balls endlessly down a field. He exhibited a pretty great talent for playing chase and catch while still a puppy, so naturally his family decided to transition him to the youth sports scene, where he rose to prominence in a very quick fashion. Soon, he outpaced pretty much all of his contemporaries (they were using the dog years metric), and so it was decided that he needed to advance to playing high school football right around the time he turned 1. While his favorite position to play at that point was wide receiver, he made the switch to running back when it was found that his low center of gravity made it much easier for him to dodge oncoming tackles.
College career
While a dog, Ruff Ruff still holds the record for youngest player ever to join a college football team, doing so at the ripe age of 2. Ruff Ruff's initial recruitment offer was actually from the Georgia Bulldogs, but right as he was about to accept, many different lawsuits from human parents were brought to court, to try and barr Ruff Ruff entry from the sport. While they cited discrimination against human rights as their motivation, most people under the surface knew that they were just scared to have their spot taken by such a majestic (and adorable) athlete. It is because of this that Ruff Ruff had to transition over to playing for the "Dog Squad" at the Precious Paws Canine Institute. While certainly not the same level as a program like Georgia, he was still able to grow a lot at PPCI, learning great skills such as how to STAY (and wait for the right route to appear) and how to roll over as a celebration in the end zone. Due to his relegation to a team like PPCI, Ruff Ruff thought his pro football dream was dead in the water. Luckily for him though, he is one cute dog, and started getting looks from NSFL and DSFL scouts after being spotted at numerous adoption fairs with a football in his mouth.
