Early years
Purdy was born on a cool spring day on April 20th in Regina Saskatchewan Canada. In his first fall he spent a lot of the weekends sittign with his dad who spent almost every weekend watching both the Canadian Football league as well as College the ISFL. This was Purdy's first exposure to football at it seemed to only grow his interst from there. At a young age he started with flag football and eventually ended up playing minor where he played a varity of postions. But growing up around the game he seemed to form a very good udnerstanding of defenses and loved having the ball in his hands. Naturally this would make him a quaterback but because of a desire to be on the defensive side of the ball as well he settled on playing running back and DB. He would go on to win three high school championships in a row before being heavily recruited into the US to play college football. In the end Purdy would decide on playing for Iowa State after they rolled out the red carpet for him on his recuiting trip there.
College career
Once Joining Iowa State Purdy Mediocre found an entire new love for the game. In his mind and his own drive to compete he felt as though he was finally on an equally playing field with the rest of the teams. He used this as a fuel of sorts to drive himself to be even better as he had always wanted to be the best of the best. Being at college he was able to meet with some of the best trainers in the world he was able to really fine tune his skills at the RB level. Despite not winning a national title in his time there Purdy was able to set multiple in school records as well get himself ready to take the next big step into the ISFL. After completing 3 seasons Purdy felt he was ready to make the jump and declared after the trade deadline for the DSFL. This meant he was able to be picked up by a DSFL team for a late season push and potentially playoffs before the season 73 DSFL draft and then the 74 ISFL Draft. The future looks bright for this young Running Back.
