Early years
Thor was born in Asgard, as the son of Odin and God of Thunder. From a young age Thor displayed very advanced skills not only in controlling storms, but also across a range of ball sports played throughout Asgard for enjoyment. While he played many different sports as a youngster including handball, Australian rules football, Rugby, Soccer and basketball, the one which he showed the most promise in was the sport of American Football. As Thor grew up, he was provided with an opportunity to play American Football through primary and secondary school, where he played a multitude of positions including Running Back, Cornerback, Linebacker and Quarterback where he showed promise through most facets of the game. As he reached his Senior year of high school, Thor made the full time swap to play Quarterback to give himself the best opportunity at receiving a college scholarship. While applying for colleges, Thor realised that most of the forms he was filling out needed a surname to be entered, and while at the time he didn't have one - he decided to use the nickname he had earned through his sports career as his last name, so he became "Bǫllrsveifla", loosely translated to english this means "Ball Slinger". Thor gave up his position on the Avengers in pursuit of a career in football instead.
College career
Thor applied to several colleges throughout Asgard, and received offers from many schools including Old Valhalla University, Midgard Technical College and Asgard College. Though there was a lot of discussion around where he would sign, it ended up being a decision between Old Valhalla and Asgard College. Once Thor had commited to Asgard College, he felt a sense of excitement and anticipation. As the god of thunder, his skills on the football field were still unmatched even at this level, and he knew that Asgard College would provide him with the perfect platform to showcase his abilities. It wasn't just about football for Thor, Asgard College also offered an education that aligned with his interests, the faculty members were respected scholars in their fields, and Thor was looking forward to expanding his knowledge beyond the football field. He planned to study ancient mythology and history, further connecting with his roots and embracing his role as the god of thunder. Thor's college football performance was exceptional through all three years he was there. His strength and speed allowed him to dominate the field, leaving opponents in awe. Thunderous touchdowns alongside precise passes showcased his athleticism and determination. Fans and teammates adored him for his legendary performances, solidifying his status as a football deity at Asgard College.
