Mai Fukushū (born May 16, 2020) is an American football runningback who is currently preparing to enter the professional ranks.

Early years
Mai Fukushū has yet to give a clear answer on her early life. She described herself in her initial press conference as "The daughter of rage and fire", but there's a theory that she was orphaned at a young age and ran away from her foster home on Yakushima Island. Yakushima Island itself is known as being the inspiration for the setting of Hayao Miyazaki film Princess Mononoke, which may explain her own explanation of her backstory. All that is known is that she brought along a mask not dissimilar to the mask from that anime.
College career
Due to the nature of her sudden appearance, there is no record of Fukushuu even attending high school. She also listed her age as 17, which leads to some uncomfortable questions arising from this situation. The first record of her existence is her appearance at the NSFL HQ in Los Angeles. There are no records of her ever boarding a plane or boat from Japan or any record of her arrival. When she arrived, she had come with an application all filled out and after an extensive physical and individual workout was deemed fit to play in the NSFL.
