Early years
Draven Chanos was born to a mother and father on rocky terms in July of 2045. Following his birth, his parents split up due to differences on how the child should be parented, however after a year apart they were able to reconcile and ended up back together in a nicer home. Draven's father had gotten an incredible job during his time apart from his wife and son, and as a result he was able to provide much more consistently and luxuriously than he was previously able to. Draven started playing football when he was 10, because he was seen on the playground by a coach outrunning every other kid on the track. He was always naturally fast, and had amazing reflexes. He sometimes lacked intelligence as to which hole to hit in the backfield, but overall was able to beat out nearly everybody that he played against. He continued his dominance well into his high school years at Ocean View High, until a hyperextended knee on a low tackle by an opposing safety left him injured and out of the playoffs. He played a little scared the next two seasons, gaining some of that intelligence he had been missing, but also didn't take as many risks and his big-play potential went down because of it. On the night that college scouts were coming to take a look at Huntington Beach High QB Samuel Ardonado, he decided he needed to stop playing scared, and posted 289 yards on the ground with a long of 81 and 4 TDs. The next day, he got calls from colleges all over the country, and as the season went on Draven decided that he would be attending Oregon State.
College career
In college, Draven was sidelined for his first season, redshirted by the coach and not allowed to play. He understood this, as the team had two seniors that were both potential early draft picks, and a fifth-year senior who they were giving playtime to out of respect to his commitment to the team. However, when his sophomore year rolled around, he was only a freshman in terms of football play, and he showed it. With a year to sit and learn the offense and tactics to make him a more technical runner without taking away his natural talent, he absolutely dominated. For the next three seasons, he was routinely the focal point of the Beavers' offense, in fact causing the offensive coordinator to leave after his second season on the field and go to a team that would actually pass more. He was replaced with a OC that loved to run, and it showed up immensely in the game tape. Though his first two seasons had been statistically impressive, his final season at Oregon State before forgoing his final year of eligibility to enter the draft saw him put up 1611 yards on the ground with another 522 in the air, a total of 21 touchdowns, and an easy win in the PAC-12 MVP race. Oregon State just barely missed the playoffs that season, and Draven was crushed, but knew that his team was going to fall apart around him due to NIL and graduations, and so decided to declare for the draft anyway.
