Early years
"JJ Lopez-Daniels was born in Las Vegas, Nevada, to Jeanine Lopez-Daniels and Joseph Lopez. Joseph was a small business owner, and his mother was a video producer before she retired. JJ went to high school at Sunrise Mountain High School, where he joined the football team during his sophomore year, where he was a perfect fit for the quarterback due to his size and speed. By the end of his sophomore year, he had 21 receptions for 753 yards and 12 touchdowns. On the blocking end, he had 26 pancakes and 4 allowed sacks. In his junior year he had improved slightly before getting injured near the end of the season with a torn pectoralis. However in his senior year he majorly improved, where as he had 26 receptions for 1043 yards and 15 touchdowns, along with 20 pancakes and 3 sacks allowed. This is also the year Sunrise Mountain won the Mountain West Conference. After his final year in high school he got a full ride scholarship to Texas Tech University for football."
College career
"As a true freshman in 2043, Lopez-Daniels had a season full of up's and downs, in total he had 12 receptions for 530 yards and 4 touchdown, along with 7 pancakes and 1 sack allowed. However during a game against FIU he went down with a serious quadricep tear and missed most of the season. However when he came back the team had propelled to a bowl game where they won against Nevada 34-27. In his sophomore year he had a much better year in which he had 15 receptions for 500 yards and 5 touchdowns. His junior year was much of the same with 12 receptions for 527 yards and 2 touchdowns. In his senior year, disaster struck, during the 3rd game of the season, Lopez-Daniels went down with a serious neck injury and had to sit out the entire season on a medical redshirt. It the entire season in rehab to nurse himself better, when he came back the next season, he played the best he had in his entire college career, with 20 receptions for 1218 yards and 12 touchdowns. This was the year Texas Tech won the Lombardi trophy. "
