The Dimbi family are full blown Bills fans and are known to tailgate at New Era Field with their season tickets that they have owned for many years. Like his parents, Timmy is a massive Buffalo Bills fan. Timmy played football since his father was able to sign him up. Both of Timmy's parents were teachers therefore making school a big priority in his life alongside football. Timy attended Canisius High Schooled which is a private school for Roman Catholics and Jesuit. Timmy was able to play football while at Canisius and was a star player for the team. While playing football, Timmy was also an honor roll student and made the dean's list every year. Timmy has always wanted to play in the National Football League which the first step was to be recruited. When Brian Kelly came knocking, it was a dream come true for the Dimbi family. Once Notre Dame was interested, the recruiment tour was over for Timmy. Notre Dame was his dream school.

Throughout the season, Timmy spent his time training and practicing with the team. Timmy was able to put on muscle as well as tone his body a bit. An injury allowed Timmy to start in 5 games near the end of the seson. In those five games, Timmy was able to record 6 tackles and 1 sack. In his sophmore season, Timmy earned a starting role as defensive tackle and started in all of Notre Dame's games. He recorded 45 tackles, 8 tackles for loss, and 3.5 sacks.
