Early years
Lord Farquaads was born the son to Grumpy the Dwarf and the Princess from The Princess and the Pea. Unfortunately, Grumpy was an abusive partner, and Lord Farquaads’ parents split shortly after he was born. He started playing ball at age 9, alongside playing hockey. Despite being dimunitive in stature as a young man, he quickly invested in stilts and weights which enabled him to be taller than the average human being and heavier, so he can resist tackles and catch balls that he otherwise wouldn’t have been able to reach. He started off as a wide receiver in youth football and was one of the top players on the field whenever he was out there. He was a dominating presence, and coaching personnel quickly noticed his prowess. Some scouts had a concern about his ability to balance hockey, ruling Duloc, and Football, but he’s proven them all wrong so far.
College career
Lord Farquaads had an odd College experience. He was Lord of Duloc, and a student at the University of Duloc at the same time. He was a true freshman and was starting as a wideout for the Duloc Jousting Knights. Unfortunately, after a stellar start to his freshman campaign where he collected three touchdowns and over 150 yards, he took a vicious hit to the head from Shrek and was placed into the FCF’s Concussion Protocol for three weeks. He eventually recovered, but his positions were filled by older teammates that performed well and he was suddenly stapled to the bench. Duloc University’s Offensive Coordinator, Ser Bedevere, gave him a shot as a Tight End in Week 5. This position change didn’t result in a significant increase in production, but Farquaads’ speed, strength and hands combined to create an effective and dangerous threat over the middle and on the screen pass.

DSFL career
Going into S39 of the DSFL, Lord Farquaads was selected 28th overall in Round 4 by the London Royals. Farquaads had declared his intent to play as a Tight End for the DSFL season, but upon arriving at camp with the London Royals, they informed him that they would like him to play as running back. Farquaads focused his offseason efforts on preparing his run game for a big debut. Lord Farquaads excelled at the position change and led the team in touchdowns with 14 and 1602 yards for the season. Two standout performances include Farquaads’ Week 4 when he tallied 144 yards and 2 touchdowns, and Week 7 when he had 244 yards and 3 touchdowns. Unfortunately, Farquaads’ stellar numbers were not enough to propel the Royals back to the postseason, as the Royals finished the season with a dismal 5-9-0 record. There has been talk of award recognition coming for Farquaads’ rookie campaign that saw him lead the entire DSFL in rushing touchdowns.
