Alex was always requested to play due to his sheer size and strength, he often found himself on defense quickly pulverising offensive linemen and desimating running backs. With Armstrong as the focal point of the defense, Alex's teams often found themselves cruising through the competition and efficiently placing in the playoffs. Having enjoyed those times, and his military career almost over, Alex determined the International Simulation Football League would provide the best competition for him to prove his football abilities against.
