Contents
Early years
Brandon Mason is the youngest of 3 of Fredrick and Mary Jean Mason. The Mason family was full of athletes, so competition ran in the family. Fred was a college baseball star for OSU, Sally (sister) played basketball at the University of Kentucky, and Patrick (brother) played soccer at OSU. Mason has also been a bigger guy, starting at birth weighing a whoping 10lbs, 5oz. In his younger days, he played soccer, basketball, and baseball. In highschool, he ended up trying out for the football team his junior year, and due to his size and athleticism, he was immediately put on the offensive line. Mason definitely caught the eye of the high school coaching staff, but he had a lot to learn. He had a solid high school career, receiving a few all conference awards and attracted some scouts from smaller D2 school and received a few offers, but decided to attend OSU.
College career
Mason decieded his freshmen year, that he would try out for the football team at The Ohio State University. He showed flashes of his skill, enough to be added to the team and would end up being redshirted for his freshmen season. The coaching staff was noted saying he had crazy potential, but had things to work on since he had only played 2 years of football. His sophmore year, Mason started the season as the 2nd string RG. He got his chance to start the final 2 games of the season due to injuries across the offensive line. The coaching staff said they were extremely impressed with Mason and how far he has come. The team won the final 2 games, rushed for 300 yards, and threw for 400 in that 2 game span, behind Mason's 10 pancakes and 1 sack allowed. By junior year, he had earned the trust and respect from his teammates and coaches to be names a Captain. Between his junior and senior year OSU made it to the college championship both years, winning one (senior) and losing one (junior). Both of those years, OSU was a top offense in PPG and YPG. This lead Mason to be one of the top offensive lineman in the draft.

DSFL career
Mason graduated a semester early and prepared for the DSFL. The draft had already past, so he was put in to the free agency pool. He was picked up quickly by the Portland Pythons and was trade to the Kansas City Coyotes, even quicker. He was noted saying, he was just excited to be int he DSFL and was honored that KCC was willing to trade for him. He played roughly half the 2051 season, recording 35 pancakes and allowing 6 sacks. Currently he is one of the top DSFL OL prospects for the ISFL.
