Early years
Molki Koivu was born in Laval, in the province of Quebec, in Canada. Growing up, Molki actually wanted to become one of the best hockey player, like most kids in Quebec, but he could not make it to the big team of his highschool due to his lack of skating skills, so he gave up on that dream. He saw that his high school football team needed more players though, and he tried his luck there, and was accepted into the team. Being taller than most other kids of his age, his coach played him at wide receiver, knowing no one on the opposite team can reach as high as he can. He was doing pretty decent, but didn't really show any special talent that would make it seem like he would be one of the best wide receiver out there. He still persevered, and was accepted at the Concordia University to play with the Stingers in Montreal.
College career
Molki was accepted in the Concordia University to play with the Stingers. Initially, they kept him playing at wide receiver. He was not really performing well though, as now he wasn't the only tall one on the field, he now couldn't only beat the defense by being taller, he had to be faster, which he couldn't do very well, as he was not the fastest out there. But he still showed enough potential to catch the eye of one person. Simon Tremblay, the former offensive lineman for the Philadelphia Liberty, is now a scout to find good potential in the province he was born, Quebec, to give them a better chance at getting to play professional football, and when he watched Koivu play, he knew he had that something to make it in the ISFL. So Tremblay approached him to train him to make him a better player. Simon thought that with his height, he could make him into a very good tight end. All he needed was to make Molki stronger. After many months of training, Koivu was now the best TE in RSEQ football, and is a potential future ISFL player.
