Early years
Redbeard McFredbeard was named after the famous pirate Redbeard and a famous Dallas Cowboys offensive lineman who was nicknamed Fredbeard by his adoring fans. Making a massive assumption about their child's distant future and figuring that their child would one day grow to have a truly impressive beard and rob QBs of completions, Redbeard's parents chose to give him the name Redbeard McFredbeard. They were terrified, though, because they had always been bigger fans of the offense than the defense and wanted McFredbeard to protect, not terrorize, poor quarterbacks. McFredbeard started his life, though, as a disappointment. He was a chunky child and played on the defensive line during his early days. His parents would have been okay with offensive line, seeing as their favorite player to watch had been on the offensive line, but McFredbeard seemed far more interesting in hurting quarterbacks than protecting them. In fact, he was not very good.
College career
Despite not being very good, he somehow earned a scholarship to Baylor Univeristy to play defensive line. He did, but he was not very good. In fact, you could probably safely say that he was actually quite bad. In fact, here are some quotes from his coaches: "McFredbeard is by far the biggest scouting mistake one of my programs have ever made." "How the ********* did this piece of **** get a ******** scholarship?!" "If he was half as good at playing football as he is at wasting time at his job, he would be a lock in the first round." "DO NOT DRAFT THIS KID." The last one is from a real NFL scout. Hearing this feedback, McFredbeard decided to go the ISFL route instead of taking his chances in the NFL. He declared for the draft and was sent to the Kansas City Coyotes where he spent his early career before being drafted in the first round for some reason by the Colorado Yeti.
