Early years
Born in Hamilton, Ontario (The Hammer) Bailey "Bay" Webb was raised in a "football family" Enjoying the family loved teams The Raiders and the 2 hometown teams the Tigercats and the McMaster Mauraders. Bay lived in Hamilton up till he was in grade 6 then moved to Selkirk, Ontario in Haldimand County, He would go to highschool at Cayuga Secondary School for the Warriors football program where he would lead the team to 3 league titles(Would have been 4 if the team had not folded in the 4th season and was forced to merge with ex-rivals Hagersville, making the team ineligible for play). In his "victory lap" year in highschool Webb broke the schools Single game, Season and All - Time sack records. That record smashing season was enough to get McMasters scouts attention getting Webb a scholarship with the team the following season. Webb helped save the football program in Cayuga from folding with the help of teammates and students at Hagersville Secondary school, forming the "Warricanes"
College career
Bay Webb seen the field very few times in his freshman year, only seeing reps on Kickoff and Special teams, Recording 4.5 Tackles. Sophmore year opened up a lot more playing opportunities. Seniors declaring for either the CFL OR NFL draft at the time paved the way for Webb to succeed. Bumped up to 2nd string Defensive End Webb shined and didnt stay second string for long, After the first 2 games of his sophmore season Webb had racked up 6 Tackles, 2 For Loss and 2 Sacks, 1 for each game. After his promotion to first string due to the injury of his team mate at the time Webb helped bring the McMaster Mauraders that year to not only the playoffs but helped bring the team to hoist the Vanier Cup. Webbs Junior and Senior years were nothing short of brilliant other than a few minor injuries in his 3rd year, The mauraders had made the playoffs both years but were elimanted in the Semi Finals.
