Brick Wall (born July 13, 2043) is an American football defensive tackle who is currently preparing to enter the professional ranks.He played college football for George Mason University (GM) and has declared his intent to enter the professional ranks next season.

Early years

Growing up in the rural town of Rock, Wisconsin, Brick Wall did not get a lot of exposure to the footballing world. He tried youth football as a defensive edge, but did not find it enjoyable. He felt bad everytime he tackled someone to the ground. It is reported that you could hear Brick saying "Sorry" as he helped up every single player he tackled on the field. Because of this, Brick quite football when he entered middle school. His hiatus from football lasted until high school when Shane Falco, the new football coach, recruited him to be a run blocking nose tackle. Brick did not have a single sack his whole career, but he held opposing run games to under 30 rushing yards a game. This is due to Brick Wall's unconventional playstyle of simply standing infront of the offensive line and not moving. He is impossible to move out of his stance, even with double teams. Not very flashy statisticly, but an under the hood workhorse for his high school squad. Being a more low-key player, Brick was not recruited coming out of highschool. Brick Wall was not offered a single college scholarship.

College career

Because Brick was not recruited by any college schools, he believed his football career to be over. He was offered a merit-based scholarship for research by George Mason University, in Fairfax, Virginia. Almost immediately after moving out of his small rural town, the football coaches began swarming him, constantly asking if he would tryout for the team as a walk on. Brick decided to give it a try and showed out, grabbing the starting DT job as soon as they could make pads that were large enough for his frame. With proper coaching, Brick began evolving his game from is high school days. While his core game of stopping the inside run went unchanged, Brick increased his QB pressures and sack totals. Over his next 4 years, Brick broke every defensive tackle record at the primarily research-based school. His collegiate career reached its peak when George Mason University made it's first bowl game in history in Brick's final year as a Patriot. After graduating with a degree in political science, Brick then decided to try his talents in the DSFL.

Professional career

Season 50

Brick Wall’s professional career begins with a false start as he missed his alarm clock on the final day of DSFL draft registration and failed to register in time. This may prove to be a blessing in disguise in the future, but at the time it means Brick Wall is sitting on the sidelines for draft night. Late into the night, Wall was finally claimed by the Kansas City Coyotes, who were also picking first in the draft earlier that evening. Brick Wall had made the DSFL.

Weeks 1-2: Both Brick Wall and Kansas City started the season off slow with two straight losses. In his first ever game, Wall did not record a single stat. He made up for it in the close loss versus the future S51 DSFL champion Bondi Beach Buccaneers away by recording his first sack and first four tackles. In this game, the entire KCC defense held valiantly for 3 and a half quarters, stopping the Buccaneers from scoring any touchdowns till the final four minutes. Unfortunately, the “bend but don’t break” KCC defense finally snapped and allowed two game losing touchdowns. Brick Wall and the rest of Kansas City left Bondi Beach with a broken heart but a huge chip on their shoulder. They will want revenge. Weeks 3-5: The next three weeks, Brick Wall and the Coyotes took care of business and won two out of the three games. Both wins are convincing and by double digits. Brick Wall is finally jelling with the rest of his team. Wall especially becomes close with his defensive line counterpart, Paulie Wag. The two players have very different pedigree as Paulie Wag was the first overall pick in the DSFL draft that year while Wall wasn’t even drafted. Even with their differences, they are a formidable team on either edge of the line.

Weeks 6-9: Over the next four weeks, Kansas City collapses. It starts with two close games against the Grey Ducks and Birddogs and ends with the Grey Ducks and Birddogs figuring out the Coyotes and blowing them out. These weeks are a tough challenge for Brick Wall. The locker room is becoming snippy and players are worried about an apparent curse on the team. The atmosphere is not good.

Weeks 10-14: The Coyotes get out of their funk with a great game against Tijuana at home. Brick Wall has his greatest performance of the year with seven tackles and two tackles for loss. The floundering Luchadores are the perfect bounceback team for the Coyotes. Kansas City kept this momentum with a win over the Seawolves. They stumbled a bit with the London Royals in a close loss. Perhaps the Coyotes were looking too far ahead as next week was the Buccaneers. Instead of having to travel to the hostile land of Australia, the Coyotes would have the Bucs at home. The KCC defense wants revenge and they get it, holding Bondi Beach to zero points in the fourth quarter to close out a close win over the eventual DSFL champions for KCC’s biggest win of the year. There is some accusations of tanking in week 14 of the Coyotes as they lose by twenty nine at home. Considering his season, Brick Wall has established himself as a valuable player for Kansas City and is excited for the ISFL draft and S51.
