Johnson got off to a slow start in his DSFL career achieving only 3 tackles in his first three games. It wasn't until Week 4 in a 45-25 thrashing of the Dallas Birddogs that he put his imprint on a game with 4 tackles, a tackle for a loss and a fumble recovery. He got his first sack and forced fumble the following week against Tijuana in a 28-14 win over the Luchadores. Johnson Lovehammer (born July 20, 2031) is an American football defensive tackle for the Minnesota Grey Ducks of the Developmental Simulation Football League. He played college football for Temple University before being selected with the sixth overall pick of the 2053 DSFL Draft (S38) by the Grey Ducks.

Early years
Johnson Lovehammer was born on July 20th, 2031 at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Orphaned from birth, Johnson grew up in the foster system his whole youth. He found solace in sports; Johnson played football, baseball, and basketball, and ran track in high school. Lovehammer obtained a football scholarship enabling him to attend Roman Catholic High School situated in the center of the City of Brotherly Love. He helped lead the Cahillite's to two consecutive state championships in his junior and senior years attending the school. It was in those games he received most of his attention from college scouts.
College career
Lovehammer received many athletic scholarship from various schools throughout the country in both football, baseball, and basketball. His final shortlist contained teams such as the Penn State Nittany Lions, Pittsburgh Panthers, Michigan Wolverines, the Alabama Crimson Tide. However, not wishing to leave home, Johnson Lovehammer committed to Temple University; a move that stunned the college world.
Freshman Season
Johnson's freshman season was a productive one, committing fully to the gridiron Johnson was a fierce challenge for opposing offensive linemen. Know for excellent technique and uncommonly quick lateral movement Johnson Lovehammer made 35 tackles, to go along with 5 and 1/2 sacks his first year at the program. The Temple Owls posted a record of 9 and 3 that season and defeated the North Carolina Tar Heels in the Fenway Bowl.
Sophomore Season
A noticeable increase in production marked Johnson's sophomore season as he totaled more tackles, tackles for loss, sacks, forced fumbles, fumble recoveries, passes deflected, and also two safeties and he also managed to score his first touchdown since his senior year of high school. Johnson Lovehammer was taken 6th overall in the DSFL rookie draft by the Minnesota Grey Ducks. Johnson got off to a slow start in his DSFL career achieving only 3 tackles in his first three games.
