Born to Mr. and Mrs. Shuffleboard, Jonathan took to football at a very young age. While his parent's preferred he play shuffleboard his ability to cut in from centerfield and get interceptions was his calling card throughout high school. Playing for the football powerhouse Iona Prep in New Rochelle, he took over as the starting safety as a sophomore.
