Early years
As stated above, Rotchburns was born at sea. He moved around a bunch in his early years, seeing as his Dad, Ike Rotchburns, was a Marine. It wasn't until the 9th grade when the Rotchburns finally settled down that Mike started playing Football. For his first two years he played offensive line, a guy who is 6'2 220 in high school is almost bound to play that position. At the start of camp his junior year however, his coaches let him have a few carries, noticed his vision and inability to be taken down by the first guy, and the rest is history.
College career
Rothcburns did it big, he went SEC. Although he split carries his first year, he went on to take the majority of the handoffs in both his Sophomore and Junior year seasons. He ran over SEC defenders like they were High Schoolers, and his dominance put the entire country on notice. It wasn't until his Junior season that LSU was in the talks for the best team in the country, and the Tigers proved the experts right. Going 14-0 in his Junior season, and beating the Oregon Ducks in the 2038 National Championship.
Professional Career
In Rotchburns first season with the Grey Ducks he performed well, not not great. He averaged less than 5 yards a carry, and only punched it in 6 times on the entire season. On top of a good, not great season from Rotchburns the Grey Ducks only managed to bust out 5 wins on the season, very much under exceeding the expectations the team had set out for themselves early in the year. As for statistics, Rotchburns was ninth in the DSFl in yards (1017) was also ninth in yards per carry (4.7) and tied for 6th in the league with 6 scores on the campaign. In the offseason, Rotchburns flew out to Cancun with some of his teammates to get in some private work as well as enjoy their offseason. His regimen in the offseason included 14 eggs, 12 pieces of bacon, and a pound of potatoes for breakfast every morning, immediately followed by 2 hours of grueling weight room work. After that Rotchburns would drink his protein shake with 84gs of protein in it, then relax and play some Madden or MLB the Show for a break. He would then get in his field work, and go on to consume another 4-5k calories in the day. Reports are in that Rotchbunrs has turned some of that weight into rock solid muscle, and his trainer has even got Rotchburns to bring down his 40 time, and greatly improve his lateral quickness. His sophomore campagin will be a big test for Rotchburns, seeing as he needs to prove to his new owners, the New Orleans Second Line, that they didn't waste a pick on him.
