Austin knew that he woul dhave to work harder than the more athletically and genetically gifted kids but knew that he could do it if he put his mind to it. Austin dedicated himself to the sport and ended up being an All State Athlete from his sophomore year through his senior year and was able to get offers from a few D1 Schools. These schools were not the big names like Clemson or Alabama, these schools would never look at a running back with his stature. However a scholarship offer from a D1 school wsa good enough for him and he was set to go.
