James Earl Bishop (born January 14, 2010) was an American football wide receiver for the San Antonio Marshals of the Developmental Simulation Football League (DSFL). He played college football for Baylor University (Baylor) and was drafted 10th overall in the 2026 DSFL Draft (S11).

Early years

James Bishop was born and raised in Austin, Texas by his two loving parents Jeremiah and Doris Bishop. James attended Austin High School before moving on to college. He was prolific in every sense of the word setting new records for the school in both receptions and yards. James was fortunate enough to be trained by his uncle Ezekiel. Ezekiel was a great trainer and told James everything he needed to know to pursue his dreams of being a true NSFL star. Growing up watching the likes of Bradley Westfield, Trey Willie, and Josh Garden, James learned from the way they were able to create separation and make defenders miss.

College career

In College at Baylor James was able to make his mark. James played 11 games as a freshman. He was great in high school but even better in college. He may not have been setting records here but he was able to turn the heads of many NSFL and DSFL scouts. James decided that it was the right time to make the move and leave college early in order to enter the DSFL. On September 27th he announced his intentions of entering the 2026 DSFL Draft (S11).
