Early years
Corey was born on June 18, 2036, as 'Ricky Lafleur,' to Tammy Lafleur and an unnamed father but was to married Raymond Lafleur in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Tammy left Raymond and Corey shortly after his birth, leaving Raymond to raise Corey as a single parent. Raymond, or "Ray," was known to be a drunk and con artist, leading Corey to take on several different fake identities' due to Ray's criminal activities, such as insurance fraud. Corey grew up in Sunnyvale Trailer Park and spent most of his time with his two best buddies, Julian and Bubbles. During his school years, Corey encountered many problems, such as repeating grade 6 three times due to heavy intoxication. He eventually had to drop out of grade 10 because his friend Julian stopped doing his homework for him. However, Corey later managed to complete his grade 10,11 and 12 after some time before enrolling in high education. During his time in grade school Corey also played for the football team as a running back.
College career
Academics wasn't really Corey's thing, as evidenced by his multiple grade failures, showcasing a less than stellar track record in school. Corey, however, was much more of a hands-on guy, leading him to major in football. The only college offering this major was the South Harmon Institute of Technology, where acceptance is just one click away. Corey's strength lay more in brawn than brains, enabling him to power through the defensive line time and time again making him renowned for his ability to employ brute force but also his ability navigating through the defense with remarkable speed and agility. During his freshman year as a running back, he swiftly rose to become the star player, breaking the single season rushing touchdown record. On and off the field, Corey was known as a great leader, and his charitable contributions to the community around South Harmon Institute of Technology were noteworthy. His impact extended beyond the game, reflecting a commitment to making a positive difference in the lives of those around him.
