Early years
No one is quite sure where Dick comes from and where he started and he doesn't answers questions about his childhood. The earliest things he'll talk about are discovering football in high school and his efforts to join the team and then rise through the ranks to become a star player. Despite not starting during his Freshman season, Wizardry returned punts and later kickoffs, managing 3 touchdowns. When he finally took over the starting role, he had three straight 1,000 yard seasons, and scored 42 times. He was his team's leading Receiver during his Junior and Senior year of high school as well. His parents, whose names he chooses not to reveal, were supportive of his aspirations after they themselves came from humble beginnings. The most he would say was that each was the sole surviving child in their fmaily and that they were hard workers who showed him the kind of work ethic he carries to this day. Wizardry was recruited by over a dozen schools before settling with Florida State after a visit that included a "welcome" by several sororities that was later investigated by the NCAA, who found no wrongdoing. The accusations were later leaked to have come from a rival school, The University of Florida.
College career
At FSU, Dick rushed for over 4,500 yards and scored 43 touchdowns on the ground. He punished linebackers and secondary players who attempted to tackle him with a lethal combinaiton of speed and strength. He also caught over 200 passes for a total of 3,800 yards and 26 touchdowns. In addition he was a kick and punt returner who hit over 1,000 yards each seaosn and managed to take it all the way to the endzone and combined 8 times. That's where he picked up the (self given) nickname "Weapon XXX"
