Despite having offers from every school in the SEC and being a five star recruit coming out of high school, Rerry Jice made good on his childhood promise to go to Mississippi Valley State University. He was given limited playing time in his freshman year, having only 257 receiving yards and 2 receiving touchdowns to his name. However, in the closing game against Jackson State University, Rerry Jice made a leaping, one-handed grab over Travis Hunter and took it to the house, securing a win in the final seconds. This wowed the Delta Devils coach, paving the way for Rerry Jice to earn more playing time. He didn't disappoint as a sophomore, totaling up 993 reception yards and 10 touchdowns on 84 catches. He was gaining eyes at the pro levels. Unfortunately, his production dipped his junior season, with only 650 yards and 5 touchdowns. Fearing what would happen in his senior year, Rerry Jice decided to declare for the ISFL. | Despite having offers from every school in the SEC and being a five star recruit coming out of high school, Rerry Jice made good on his childhood promise to go to Mississippi Valley State University.
