Nick Flint (born August 1, 1993) is an American football linebacker who is currently preparing to enter the professional ranks. He played college football for The Ohio State University (OSU) and has declared his intent to enter the professional ranks next season.

Early years

"Flint grew up in Columbus, Ohio going to the local Gahanna-Lincoln High School. This affluent school system has historically been well funded and has been able to provide its players with the best of the best training and equipment. Though the Golden Lions rarely make it deep in the playoffs, there have been a few stand-outs that made professional careers. Flint fully intended on being one of those players.

Flint made the varsity roster as a freshman (skipping the freshman team outright) and was a starter for all four years. In that time, Flint has become the all-time leader in tackles and sacks for Gahanna-Lincoln. During that time, Flint famously was recorded on the local news for running past a reporter naked, running from opposing players of senior tag. Senior tag is a game played by Gahanna-Lincoln seniors that is played with NERF guns. Once hit, the player is out. The only way to not get out is to be naked in public. Luckily for Flint, that did not affect his commitment to The University of Michigan (at the time). Flint initially committed to The University of Michigan and then switched to rival Ohio State one hour before the deadline. This prompted his controversial reply of 'I don't give a damn for the whole state of Michigan'."

College career

"Outside of all of Flint's off-the-field antics, he has had a historic college career. His first start happened to be in The Big House against the University of Michigan, the same team he trolled so epically in the recruiting period. In that game, Flint managed to record 11 tackles, 2 tackles for loss, 2 sacks, and an interception. The perfect slap in the face for the team that failed to recruit the star. This game was the first instance in Flint's career where he began his iconic ice hockey celebration (where he pretends to take a monster slap shot and celebrate the goal). Flint went on to start ever game after that historic first game. Though he only played a little over 2 seasons for Ohio State, he is in the top 20 in all time Ohio State rankings for tackles, sacks, and quarter back pressures.

Flint famously laughed hysterically in an interview when he was asked what he felt about the University of Michigan resigning Jim Harbaugh to a contract extension."
