Early years
Sasha Medved is the son of a former professional NSFL athlete Egor Medved who played as a nose tackle for Yellowknife Wraiths and Arizona Outlaws during his career. Born during his father's time with San Antonio where Medved won the Ultimini trophy, the family remained in Texas for a longer time than Egor who then played for Tijuana before being drafted by the Yellowknife Wraiths. Considering the logistics of the professional football, Sasha was mostly educated and brought up by his mother Natasha, despite that, from very early age Sasha took interest in his father's activities and wanted to become a player like him. With the family still in San Antonio, Sasha started to get noticed by the scouts as he played for the San Antonio High School, recording fairly average stats, surpassing those of his father's during High School. Apart from football, Sasha became a big fan of racing and participated in various racing leagues on console and PC, also taking huge interest in both NASCAR and F1.
College career
Sasha Medved joined the famed University of Texas as a true freshman but failed to make the team and participated only on 1 game where he managed 1 solo-tackle. As a freshman he was clearly behind the others on physical terms and he spent the entire summer working with his now retired father to improve.
Sophomore year Sasha managed his first ever start in College football and became an important part of the defensive plays in a variety of games despite not starting yet. He was acknowledged for his agresiveness and strength which lacked endurance to start regularly.
Junior year Sasha became the starting defensive end for University of Texas having his career year, despite that he was fairly average on the overall scoreboard of the other DE's in the league which Sasha acknowledged by stating that his best is yet to come.
Senior Year Sasha improved and managed another career year and an astounding number of sacks which started a comparison with his father Egor Medved who was nicknamed the Bear - some journalists liked to call him Bear Junior.
