Osiris Firestorm-Fjord (born September 13, 2015) is an American football Tight End who currently plays for the Chicago Butchers of the NSFL. He played college football for the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) before being drafted in the 2035 DSFL Draft (S20) by the Portland Pythons.

Early years

Osiris Firestorm-Fjord was born and raised in Paris, TX. He grew up working on his parents' ranch where he became an experienced bull rider and tractor driver. He was a two-sport athlete at PS 118 where he competed in track and field in addition to football. He earned All-County honors as a wide receiver in his senior season.

College Career

Osiris received multiple scholarship offers to play college football in his home state of Texas including an offer from Texas A&M. However, Firestorm-Fjord committed to the University of California, Los Angeles citing his need to "expand his horizons a little bit beyond the state of Texas".

He began his college career as a wide receiver but saw very little playing time as a true freshman. Most scouts claim that his tall, lanky frame and lack of straight line speed were strong contributors to his inability to succeed at the position at the college level. In the Spring of his freshman year, the coaching staff at UCLA recommended that he put on some more weight in order to start playing tight end. While not a national standout at the position, Osiris was named the team's starting tight end in his Sophomore and Junior seasons, both times eclipsing 600 receiving yards.

College Career Statistics

Firestorm-Fjord amassed 122 receptions, 1430 receiving yards and 7 receiving touchdowns during his career at UCLA.
