J.C. Tomlinson (born July 12, 2044) is an American football linebacker for the Portland Pythons of the Developmental Simulation Football League (DSFL).

Early years

J.C. Tomlinson grew up in the Richmond Virginia area and was a standout high school player playing defensive line and linebacker for 4 seasons for Highland Springs High School. JC helped lead his team to a few state title appearances and had several D1 college offers out of prep school. During his time at Highland Springs, Tomlinson carried a 3.9 GPA and led the team in tackles his Junior and Senior seasons. Some diet and weight problems concerned a lot of top D-1 programs that Tomlinson wouldn't be able to keep his weight down to play linebacker or edge rusher. At 6'5 and over 300 pounds as a Senior, some teams even considered if he'd be a better fit at OL. Deciding to sign with Temple University because they would allow him to play defensive skills positions, Tomlinson moved to Philadelphia and would end up a mainstay on the Owls defense.

College career

Tomlinson played 3 seasons at Temple University, graduating in 2063 after arriving in 2060. He started nearly every game as a sparkplug player on defense. Never gathering a lot of stats or national attention, he was a team favorite and a coach's dream. The Temple Owls football team didn't win any trophies or garner much national attention during Tomlinson's time there. However, JC was a standout on a tough defense that was tops in their G5 conference all 3 years he started. Tomlinson also earned a few AAC conference accolades during his time with the Owls, and one AAC title appearance which they lost in 2063. After 3 years of college ball which saw the Owls change coaches 3 times, JC decided to take his talents to pro ball. Tomlinson's versatility and athleticism made him a top 50 prospect for the upcoming DSFL draft. He would end up selected in the 3rd round by the Portland Pythons of the DSFL in 2063.
