Sebastian Rosenthal (born January 9, 2042) is an American football linebacker who is currently preparing to enter the professional ranks.He played college football for Syracuse and has declared his intent to enter the professional ranks next season.

Early years
Sebastian was born in Cologne, Germany, and is the second child to parents Anja and Klaus Rosenthal. He has 2 siblings, an older brother Leon, and younger sister Katharina. Katharina is a few years younger, but Leon and Sebastian are close in age, and were inseparable together on the football (soccer) pitch. As they grew older however, and boh were showing extremely good athletic potential, they had gravitated away towards different sports. Leon, looking to baseball, and Sebastian to American football. They remain close as siblings do, and it was incredibly valuable for them both as they pursued professional athletic careers by heading off to colleges in the USA to have their brother living the same experience. Katharina always looked up to her brothers, and also has looked to sports for the future. She looks up to both her brothers and Sebastian has been a good mentor for her after going through the same experiences. Katharina has looked to ice hockey and remained home in Germany, but should she make her way to the SHL in North America, Sebastian has mde it clear he'll help her however he can.
College career
Coming from Germany, it was a challenge for Sebastian to find high-end football schools. The Universities hadn't seen much of his play, and a lot were unsure how he'd compare against American players who'd grown up with American resources and in their football system. He had a few good options, and ultimately chose to head to Syracuse. The local media tried o hype up the "kid from Europe" coming to join them, but pundits obviously pointed out significant risk with the move. Sebastian adapted to American life and the American football system fairly well - he was smart and you could see his vision on the field, and the coaches raved about his work and his effort. But it was clear that as a freshman he simply was not ready to play at the college level. He wasn't big enough or strong enough, and just wasn't ready. As a sophomore, he'd put on significant muscle weight ahead of the season, and while it brought positives for his play, it also had negatives. He was tougher and stronger, able to make plays on the field he couldn't. But he also struggled with the different diet, the added mass in his daily life, and his mental health through the year. He did not want to give up, and he had physicians and doctors to help. Before the end of the season, he'd actually changed up the diet and his workout regimen, and cut down 10 pounds. For the first time on the field he was truly able to show his potential, and had an outstanding game with 3 sacks and a forced fumble against Pittsburgh in the penultimate game of the season. After another summer working properly with dieticians, physicians, and more, he was able to increase his muscle mass and weight in a healthy way for him. As a junior he earned his spot on the field as the primary MLB, while also taking outside spots on occasion. It was clear from day 1 that his vision of the field would lead him well to being the quarterback of the defense, and he got that opportunity to shine. Sebastian made the decision to go to the draft after only 3 years, believing he was ready, and also under the advice of his agent, capitalizing on the opportunity of being the starting MLB.
