I.Q. Bowman (born June 10, 2042) is an American football cornerback who is currently preparing to enter the professional ranks. He played college football for University of Washington and has declared his intent to enter the professional ranks next season.

Early years

"Isaiah Quintorius ""I.Q."" Bowman was born to parents Becca Bowman and Christina Lee on the 10th of June, 2042 in Boise, Idaho. Bowman attended Boise High School, where he lettered in varsity football, basketball, and track and field for all three years.

Bowman was initially brought up to the varsity team in his first year at the school to compete as a quarterback for the team, having excelled in this as his primary position in junior high. Bowman continued to compete in this position, but defensive staff at the school saw his athleticism and vision as the potential makings of an elite defensive back. He would find significant playing time that year as a corner while also maintaining a role as a backup at quarterback. In his only game at quarterback, coming in as a reserve option behind the injured starter and backup in the state playoffs, Bowman became the first player in school history to score a passing, rushing, and defensive touchdown in the same game to help his team advance to the semifinals.

Bowman was recognized as an All-State athlete in all three sports in his senior year and was listed as a three star football recruit. Bowman attributes much of his interest as a multi-sport athlete to his upbringing as the son of two college coaches."

College career

Despite being the son of two coaches at local Boise State University, Bowman committed to play football as a student athlete at the University of Washington. As a freshman in 2060, Bowman played in nine games, primarily on special teams, and had 12 tackles and one forced fumble. Bowman broke out into the starting line-up in his sophomore year with the school, starting 13 games for the Huskies as a corner and safety. He recorded 62 tackles, four interceptions, and two sacks on the season and was named second team All-Big-16 Conference for his effort. I.Q. would go on to lead the Washington defense as a captain and starting corner throughout the 2062 season. Despite below-average performance on offense, the Huskies were able to get as far as the Big-16 Conference Championship on the backs of a conference-best defense. Bowman recorded 84 tackles, 10 passes defended, 5 interceptions, and 3 sacks on the season and was named a consensus All-American and a finalist for the Jim Thorpe Award.
