Draft

The 2054 ISFL Draft was held on 12 April, 2054. The Honolulu Hahalua selected linebacker Seth Leavitt with the first overall pick.

Rule changes

The following rule changes were approved by a committee consisting of ISFL general managers and Head Office, to come into effect for the 2054 season and beyond:

  • Beginning 24 hours before the Ultimus stream airs and ending when the draft officially starts, allow ISFL GMs to post and accept trades involving players in public league spaces. These trades take effect at the beginning of the offseason after the Ultimus stream finishes airing once approved by the budget team.
  • Teams are allowed to begin re-signing inactive players once Week 13 ends. Any inactive player who is not re-signed prior to the posting of the Free Agency list will enter Open Bidding at the start of free agency.

Preseason

Training camps for the 2054 season started on 02 August, 2054 league-wide, with the first preseason game being held on 30 August, 2054 between the Arizona Outlaws and the Orange County Otters.

Regular season

The regular season's 112 games, played over a 16 week schedule, began on 27 September, 2054.
