Emondov Tnejsi Emoji (born July 22, 2009) is an American football cornerback for the Portland Pythons of the Developmental Simulation Football League (DSFL). He played college football for University of Washington (UW), but got in trouble with some of the coaches and was subsequently kicked off the team. With a couple different options available to him, he decided to file his papers with the NSFL and 24 hours after his papers were accepted by the league office, it was announced that that the Portland Pythons had claimed him on waivers. Emondov Emoji will enter the 2029 DSFL Draft (S14).

Early years

Emondov was born in Long Beach, California in 2009. Sports were always a big thing for Emoji growing up as his parents entered him in all the leagues they could and in such he was playing basketball, soccer, baseball, and football. He was actually pretty good at all the sports, but football and baseball were his main loves. Growing up in Long Beach, he was always around great athletic talent and most of that talent was on the football side with nearby Long Beach Poly being a feeder school for USC. As Emoji continued to develop from middle school to high school, he had decided he wanted to switch positions and instead of being a wide receiver, he thought it'd be more interesting instead to shut wide receivers down. While attending Long Beach Poly, Emoji was on the honor roll and received All-American honors, as well as being named to the East/West Shrine game. As he saw many of his friends decide to go to USC, Emondov rather chose a different PAC-12 team, the University of Washington .

College career

Having star players from California is nothing new for the Huskies as Emoji soon found out and even more of a wake up call was just how talented Jimmy Lake's defensive back room was. Still, Emondov felt like he was better than most of, if not all of the current players in the room, which made the rest of the players not like him. Despite their best efforts though, the raw size and athleticism was there for Emoji and he was putting out in practice day in and day out. His lackadaisical demeanor though would put him at odds with some of the coaches and heated arguments started to become a normal thing. Emoji was given warning by head coach Chris Peterson, but as the flair ups continued to happen, Emoji would eventually be released from the program and his scholarship terminated.

Professional career

DSFL career

After being kicked off of the University of Washington's football team, Emondov was uncertain what exactly his next steps were going to be. He went home and contemplated going to junior college, but a call from former Husky alum, Brock Weathers III, changed his mind and he filed his papers for the NSFL. His papers were processed and he was officially put on waivers, where he would be picked up by the Portland Pythons.

NSFL career

2030 (S15)
Emoji would lace up his rookie season for the Philadelphia LIberty, where he'd learn underneath the likes of Lennox Garnett and Johnson Cox III, while playing alongside his Portland teammate Richard D'Attoria V. That secondary group would show to have growing pains, but do enough to make the playoffs

2031 (S16)
S16 in the NSFL would prove to be Emoji's breakout year and put his name on everyone's map. Despite the Liberty getting hit hard in the expansion draft, the team rallied around its front seven to have the best rush D while Emoji would lead the entire NSFL in passes defended with 26. He'd also pick off 3 passes and return one to the house.

2032 (S17)
Things would get a bit tense for Emoji coming into year 3 and he had a lot of things to say about his frustration. His play would dip as he tried to shoulder the team himself and ultimately the Liberty would struggle.

2033 (S18)
Despite Philadelphia struggling for the second year in a row, the Philly Five would be strong and Emondov would tie for second in the NSFL in interceptions with 6.

2034 (S19)
The Liberty would continue to struggle to find its identity coming into S19, but still D'Attoria and Emoji would emerge as some of the best players in the NSFL. Emoji would defend 17 more passes and tally another pick 6 for his career.

2035 (S20)
This would be the turning point in Emondov's career where people would start to question his ability to even play anymore. His numbers would dip as he'd barely crack double digit passes defended and have no ints

2036 (S21)
For what would end up being his last year in Philadelphia, Emoji would continue to drag ass and basically replicate his S20 season.
