After a heartbreaking end to the 2056 season, with their defeat to the Cape Town Crash in the Ultimus, Fortified Fridge was looking to make sure he never had to feel something so bitter again, unless it was from a lemon. Going into the season, D'Nickashaw Mangoldson was left to pastures gone as he retired and this meant that Fortified Fridge had to take on a bigger role in the interior of the best offensive line in football. After putting in a lot of work during the off season, Fridge felt like a true mauler and knew he could take his game to another level. The Arizona Outlaws decided to lose their first game against the Honolulu Hahalua to give the league some sense of false hope and belief that they might be on the downtrend. After that opening night defeat, the Outlaws would only lose two other games for the rest of the season, ending with a 13-3 record and holding the number one seed in both the American Simulation Football Conference and the whole International Simulation Football League. Fridge definitely took his game to another level by recording a career high 121 pancakes which put him as the 6th best offensive lineman in the league and making sure people knew his name. This was the season he really became a superstar in the trenches. He followed that up by recording 15 pancakes across two games in the playoffs and allowing no sacks while celebrating his second Ultimus win!

Coming off another Ultimus win, Fortified Fridge was looking to showcase to the league that was one of the premier offensive linemen and tackles in the league. There was now a change in the guard as longtime Arizona Outlaw and league great, Wendell Sailor decided to hang up his cleats and ride off into the sunset. With new kid in town, Donovan Winters III, Fridge took it upon himself to make his life as easy as possible. The Arizona Outlaws looked to start as they do each season, by losing the first game, which was a tough road game against future Ultimus finalist New York Silverbacks. After that it seemed to be back to their usual ways by winning 5 straight to move to 5-1. After that though it was tough sledding as the Outlaws went 4-6 the rest of the way. This might have been due to many reasons, but Fortified Fridge was definitely not one of them. He kept up his pace from last season, by piling up 121 pancakes, which was good for 7th in the league and made sure Winters was able to stay upright and have time in the pocket, by not giving up any sacks. This was the first season for him with no sacks, so another milestone on the road to glory by Fridge!

Fortified Fridge (born May 17, 1955) is an American football offensive lineman for the Arizona Outlaws of the National Simulation Football League (ISFL).

Early years

Fortified Fridge was born to Phineas and Regina Tinkleberry on the 17th of May in 1955. Phineas was a proud refrigerator who had been constructed at one of the first refrigerator factories in the world. He had fallen in love with Regina, a first edition freezer while they had both been stationed at an airforce army base in Sodankylä in Finland. After having Fortified, they decided to stay in Sodankylä. Fortified clearly had the making of a football player with this 12 ft 799 lb frame and was quickly loving the offensive line, where he basically did not allow any defensive lineman through and actually allowed 0 sacks throughout high school, before taking the next step and joining the Sauna College, set-up by eccentric billionair Trepidation Prontosaurus. His parents knew he would be able to take the leap and poured all their hard work and money into making sure Fortifed could succeed

College career

As Prontosaurus and Sauna College were the first college to really start playing American Football in Finland, they did not have many rival teams within the country to play against, but that did not stop Prontosaurus. As he was a certified billionaire, he would have his football team fly out each week all over the world to play against another new opponent. At times it was in Europe against the Frankfurt Frankensteiners or then in the United States against USC, Georiga or Alabama. Throughout his 4 years at Sauna College. Fortified was impeccable, showing off his technique, drive and pure strength even against future International Simulation Football League players, only allowing 1 sack in each of his four seasons. Fortified also found it important to make sure he had a degree with which to continue after his playing days and really put a lot of effort into ice cube technique and voice automation.

DSFL career

Fortified ended up being taken in the 3rd round of the S37 DSFL Draft and he was delighted to be taken by the London Royals, meaning he was close to home and could have his parents come out and watch his matches. His first season with the Royals did not produce a happy ending, as they went 4-9-1 with many close games that were unfotunately L's on the scoreboard. Fortified himself produced well with 63 pancakes and protecting his quarterback by not allowing a single sack across 14 games. After that he looked forward to what his future would hold in store as he declared for the S38 draft. Not expecting much as an offensive lineman with limited experience, he was shocked to be drafted at the end of the first round by the defending ISFL champions, the Arizona Outlaws. He could be seen crying fridge & freezer tears with his parents back home in Sodankylä when the pick was announced. He would end up staying with London for one more season before being called up. In the S38 season, he contnued his good form, putting up 67 pancakes but unfortunately allowing his first and only DSFL sack. He helped the team to a 9-5 record, but unfortuantely missed the playoffs as the North Conference was stacked that season

2054

After two seasons in the DSFL, S39 was the first season for Fortified to show that he truly belonged in the big leages. Coming off back-to-back championships, he was stepping into some big shoes. Luckily he had Dennis Rodman and D'Nickashaw Mangoldson as veteran lineman to help him make the adjustments. Overall it was a weird year for the Arizona Outlaws, as they started out a bit shaky but powered through the year to end up with a 11-5 record which enabled them to win the American Simulation Football Conference with them having the tiebreaker over the Austin Copperheads. Playing at center and adjusting to this new positions, Fridge had an ok year, putting up 60 pancakes and only allowing 1 sack so he could be happy with his accomplishments. Unfortunately the fairy tale did not continue all the way to the end, with the Outlaws coming undone in the final game and losing the Ultimus to the Yellowknife Wraiths

2055

After a tough end to the season last time out, Fridge and his teammates could still feel the sour grapes and sale in their mouths as they set out to set the record straight. Some fools even decided to call them "old" and "past their expiration date" and that only put more fuel to the fire. With all the other teams looking to knock them off their perch in the American Simulation Football Conference, The Outlaws, and Fridge decided to do the exact opposite and ended up with a league best 14-2 record to ensure home field advantage throughout the playoffs. Fortified Fridge continued mostly where he left off the previous season, as Mangoldson and Dennis Rodman shored up the tackle spots and made sure to protect Wendell Sailor, Fridge piled up 59 pancakes and only allowed 2 sacks, which he still feels is 2 more than necessary. The playoffs were a beautiful site to behold as the Outlaws smahed through both the Orange County Otters in the ASFC Championship game (37-12) and then defeated the Yellowknife Wraiths 45-21 in the Ultimus to extract revenge from the previous season and now Fortified was able to taste that sweet championship glory and you best believe he coming back for more

2056

With a championship in his back pocket, Fortified Fridge and his team mates looked to build on this and bring back another championship to Arizona. They started off well with an opening night victory on the road against their rivals the Austin Copperheads in a tight 32 to 29 victory. Things looked to be good until they were not. In something that could be called a nightmare, Fridge and the Outlaws went 1 and 5 in the next six games, with their only victory coming against the moribund New Orleans Second Line. Looking at a 2-5 record and at the back of the conference, the team was wondering what was next. They then decided to do what they know best and that was winning and run the table. Without letting anyone tell them what to do, they Outlaws would not lose another game that season, winning 9 in a row and there were definitely some scares during that time and very close games. They would end the season with a 11-5 record and take second place in the National SImulation Football Conference. Fridge would step up his game as well and put 97 pancakes, a clear best season for him and making a claim to be one of the best offensive lineman in the league while only allowing 1 sack. The playoffs were almost a fairy tale ending that the Outlaws deserved, but ended in heartbreak with a last second loss to the Cape Town Crash in the Ultimus, but Fridge and the Outlaws will be back!

2057

After a heartbreaking end to the 2056 season, with their defeat to the Cape Town Crash in the Ultimus, Fortified Fridge was looking to make sure he never had to feel something so bitter again, unless it was from a lemon.
